I bought this for my RTIC 145, it is a Hassel to move around when it is full so the option of hooking a hose up to drain is life changing. I use the cooler predominantly for hunting and fishing so I am able to drain away from the house now. It is a thing of beauty. So far it has held up great.

The product is made nice but had to make some alterations. Does not screw in the drain hole. So I took a grinder and took some off the threads. Be careful not to take of too much. Also thin out the threads so the will screw in. After doing this it fits just fine. So overall be prepared to put some thought into making it work if it does not naturally fit.

If you look at the image closely, just beyond the washer, and before the threading, that distance has to be smaller than the thickness of your cooler wall or the plug will just kind of flop around and not be a plug at all. I figured i could add another washer, but, then i could not find thick enough material.note there is a through hole perpendicular to the length of the plug. I have no idea what this is for (if you look at the image closely you can see it).

Requires specific coolers. Doesn't work with mine. My bad.The quality is very good and I am impressed by the gasket in particular.I thought I might be able to repurpose this as a through hull. I technically could if I could find a collar the correct size but it would probably be almost the same price just to get a proper one so read the details.😎
