If your little girl is mermaid obsessed, this is the cutest outfit for her birthday! Our daughter is 48" tall, weighs 48lbs and I ordered a size 6. *The top is a little big/long but once the tutu skirt is on, it bunches up some on its own and the look really comes together. *I didn't have to pin the waist of the tutu like I've had to do on several and it wasn't too tight. Room to grow but also fit great. *The headband is funky but super cool to kid's. I did cut the felt "ears" off which actually made it look better, I think. Daughter agreed. *The bow is adorable and well made. It's been worn several times since her birthday. Goes well with a lot of outfits. The only thing I wasn't too keen about was the sash. It's pretty long but it's supposed to be. It would slide off my daughter's shoulders or get twisted around, annoying her, so that wasn't worn on her birthday. I'm sure other's wouldn't mind those things and it's great for pictures. Amazon is experiencing issues with being able to add a photo but once that's fixed I'll post one. I highly recommend and the size chart seems true. May wasn't to tie the shirt at the waist if it's too big.

This outfit was super cute. My daughter loved it. It was true to size. Good material. Didn’t wrinkle and she loved the way it fit.
