Very nice gasket kit!
Very nice kit but this one didn’t fit my carburetors so I had to send them back and reorder the right kits! Great value!

Worst experience with aftermarket gaskets
All of the gaskets were too big and would not fit properly, had to use old gaskets. Floats are not OEM size, had to take carburetors apart three times to adjust float height, first time I set them at factory setting, 10 mm above plate and motor bogged, They are now set at 7 mm above plate. Will never buy aftermarket carb kits again, I rebuild about 30 carbs a year and this has been my worst experience. Yamaha 2006 50 hp two-stroke outboard motor.

Does not fit all 40bph models
Does not fit all 40bhp models. The brass seat for the carb bowl does not fit my 89 40bph Evinrude. Had to order the correct one from a non Amazon store.

Check the parts before disassembly.
Overall a good value for the money, however on my ‘74 25 hp I was short one Welch plug. Of course I had completely disassembled the carb and during reassembly is when I noticed this kit is short one Welch plug. I was able to find one at a local small engine repair shop. Just warning you to check what you need vs.what you get.

Bad idea
What a mistake I made by purchasing this very low-quality carb kit. After rebuilding the carb the engine wouldn't run right at all. Removed the carb/disassembled unit and found that all of the internal 'rubber' gaskets had shriveled up and came apart inside the carb. It appears that the material is not a good choice for use with gasoline. The included pics show the new crappy black gaskets that deformed on the right and the original brown ones (OEM?) that I took out on the left. Put the original ones back in and ran the motor. Steer clear of this product as there is nothing but sadness in your future if you do!!

What is wrong with ALL you people that you can't get you hands on a carburetor that you are MAKING A KIT FOR and try to threat the needle seat into it?? You are making the WRONG THREAT. It will RUIN your carb if you try to force it in. They are coming out of China by the thousands....ALL with the wrong thread. Think of someone making a carb kit and not trying ONE in an actual carburetor.....does THAT tell you anything?? OVER and OVER I have got them. They must ALL be coming from the same place.
