I had purchased this to try to help me through labor without getting an epidural. I was skeptical of how a comb could help, but thought I'd give it a try. The comb itself is very sturdy and is of great quality. The saying engraved on it is very cute. The nurses thought it was cute as well. It comfortable fits in my larger size hand. It was easy to squeeze, and held up to the post powerful squeezes that I have ever done in my life. I'm glad it is good quality or I would probably have wooden pieces broken off into my palms. Squeezing the comb did help take away some of the pain from the contractions. I was so thankful to have had it because it really did help me so much; however, I did end up getting the epidural. The comb helped me to hold still while getting the epidural as well. I would still recommend using this as a tool to help with managing contractions... especially if you're going to try to go without pain medicine! I will warn though, after squeezing so hard your palm may feel bruised/sore and your upper arms may feel like you completeled a strenuous workout! My arm was sore for several days! I found squeezing with the bristles against my palm and the waves bear my fingers worked the best.

Honestly I thought this was going to be a gimmick, but let me tell you, it got me through every contraction and getting the epidural for my labor and delivery! It was lightweight, the bristles were tough enough to cause a little pain to distract (but not too much!), it was the perfect size for your hand, and was very comfortable to hold due to the ergonomic grooves!

I recently had my first baby and this set came in handy! The quality is great especially for the price and set you receive in addition to that it was easy to use and worked well for my birthing experience before during and after.

I bought this just to have and predicted I would likely return it unused, however this became a core part of my delivery. Actually comfortable in my hand, reassuring, and holds up to hours of squeezing. It helped physically and mentally and I barely squeezed my partners hand.

Well crafted but this tool did not work for me. I tried using it during labor before my epidural but did not find it as useful as my TENS unit (Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation). Labor without this would have been even harder. It defiantly works and helped ease my mind. It is built tough and fits in your hand perfectly!

This comb helped me get through my induced labor with zero epidural!! Easy to use & definitely distracted from contractions. Of course it takes other mental toughness but 10/10 recommend to any momma.

This was a true life saver during labor! I had a stro my desire for a natural labor and unfortunately had to be induced with petocin, but with this and my doula and support from my husband I was able to go unmedicated and no epidural! It was tough but this comb truly helped more than I ever would have expected! I didn’t see myself using it to be honest, but I never let this thing go when I hit transition and pushed! It’s comfortable, light weight, easy to slip into the hospital bag, and really effectively tricked the mind into switching the pain from contractions to my hand! It also was a beautiful design and came with a cute little carrying case!

Can’t say it was just This but managed a drug free birth with my third baby and squeezed this the whole time.

Personally for me this didn’t work at all 😞
