Design causes bolt to strip (+ how to fix)
As many others have noted, these have a fatal flaw: the hole for the carriage bolt that secures the foot clamp is oversized (and is just a plastic hole, with no metal insert), so when you try to tighten it, it immediately strips**, rendering the rack useless. FIX: Because this rack was cheap and also is a hard-to-find width, I decided to fix this and found a way that works: smear a generous bead of JB weld around the square shoulder of the carriage bolt before inserting, enough that it fills the gap. When it dries the bolt is permanently secured, and can be tightened down no problem. Other than being a cheap piece of junk that you have to fix before using, the product is fine - the extrusions seem strong enough, and everything's there, especially if you need a wider unit (most are only 48"). **In case you think this was user error, I've done everything from swapping car engines to sailboat rigging to welding and installing complete custom vehicle racks, so I know my way around a fastener. This is a case of the product having a core flaw built in.

Perfect fit for my Outlander PHEV!
I am very pleased with these rails. They arrive almost perfectly adjusted for the car, and can be securely mounted with just a tiny bit of adjustment on installation. All of which can be done with one Allen wrench! Once installed, they are VERY secure and look wonderful. Now I can easily carry large items on my roof when needed!

Amazon lies about compatibility - Don’t buy if you have a Fiat 500
When I ordered this roof rack for my ski trip, Amazon said it was compatible with my 2015 Fiat 500. However, the slope of my doors makes it impossible to secure the rack to my car, despite trying all of the various attachments. It is dangerous to use this with a Fiat 500, do not buy! It becomes loose very easily at highway speeds, even without any cargo/skis/snowboards attached. I will be returning these. Don’t waste your money, buy a roof rack that is actually compatible with your car. It will save you lots of time and stress!

Carry more Toys
The rack itself was not that difficult to assemble however, the end caps for the cross bars were a terrible fit. I had to literally beat the heck out of all four to seat them, and in the process I cracked one. Fortunately, I salvaged it with some black tape. This was the first step for the rack system on my 2011 Ford F-150 4x4. Next I need to find a suitable kayak rack to attach to the cross bars for the coupla kayaks I have my eye on. Overall I'm happy with these cross bars. Their attractive and an easy install.

If you are not handy, these are going to be frustrating to install.
The good: They send 3 different types of corner brackets so you can fit to many configurations; I actually had to mix and use 2 different ones for the front than the back. The bad: The 4 bolts that hold the 4 corners are "square head" and are "supposed" to fit into the inside of the plastic corner backets and lock in place to "square holes" so they do not spin when you are tightening the round turn knobs. The bolts they sent, the square part was too small, and spun freeely without locking. Further complicating this - they have a smooth 1/2 round head so you can not grab it with pliers to hold the bolt from spinning so you can tighten the the knobs. I had to go to Lowes and grab 4 bolts threaded the same M8 x 40 metric, with standard hex heads so I could reach behind with pliers and hold them while tighteneing the front knob. Overall I don't feel very confident and I recommend spend more money and get one with fixed screw holes and keyed locks. I may return these.... I upped my star to 4, because although they slide forward or backward, I realize any racks you buy are going to do the same thing. I pre-drilled holes in the part of the bracket that goes into the underside of the top window frame (where you can't see it) and screwed the brackets to the top car door jamb/frame. AGAIN: If you are not a handy person, and these aren't installed securely, they're "iffy". I'd definitely feel better if all parts were metal and not platic knobs.

Slides back
Used on a Toyota Crown does not attach easily. If we went above 55 it would slide back. Luckily we had a sunroof so we could keep an eye on it. When it started to slide we had to pull over and readjust. We drove from TX to CA and back. Would not recommend if you don't want to have to pull over to keep fixing it.

These will slide and do not clamp down firmly!
Do not buy this item! I followed the instructions (such as they were) for installing these items to a tee, and even used additional videos to make sure they were as secure as they could be. But the design of this item is such that as you clamp it down to get it tight, the feet rise up out of the rubber pads, and then they will slide. 2 hours into a 4 hour trip with kayaks mounted, these units had slid 6 inches and were in danger of coming off altogether. I had to pull the kayaks down and tie them down in the back of the truck to get to my destination. The instructions for this unit are extremely poor, and even if you get it installed correctly, they will move on your during transport. Do NOT BUY.

Plenty of options for a good fit.
They do fit my 2020 Ram 2500 crew cab.

If you need a roof rack, this is not it! The way the item clamps to the vehicle is made out of plastic that strips very easily making it to where you cannot tighten the clamps to the car. Even when tightened its still very loose and dangerous. If you don't have mounting points Id suggest maybe drilling and tapping new mounting points to the roof, thats what I did and its saved me my peace of mind.

Very good quality , came with lots of universal fittings, bolts and screws. Setting it up on my 2012 Mazda 3 took about 30 minutes. Super easy. Thanks !

Did not fit my vehicle even though it said it would. It did come with everything needed to install just didn’t fit. Also did look and feel good.

Don’t waste your money shows metal brackets they are actually plastic. The hole for the carriage bolt is bigger than the bolt so when you try to tighten it the bolt just turns in the plastic and will not tighten. Should provide the proper pieces instead of cheap plastic

This product has a major design flaw and can NOT be properly secured to the roof. The feet of the roof rack are constructed of a plastic material. The carridge bolt used to secure the clamp to the roof is mounted in the plastic foot. Any tightening pressure applied to the knob/nut causes the bolt to rotate in the foot leaving the roof rack unstable.
