Although I attached mine directly to my kayak, it could be mounted on any track, drilling easily through the plastic of the sidewinder (if necessary) to slightly enlarge the bolt openings. I use an anchor trolley instead of moving the Sidewinder along a track, and recommend that system. I have used it for years, after trying other methods, because it keeps the mess of the anchor and line completely out of the kayak. Also, I find the Bruce-style claw galvanized anchor in the small 2.2 lb / 1 kg size to hold best in any situation, compared to the folding anchor, and it fits great in the Sidewinder.
