So far, it is amazing! We have had no issues, although we haven't had it long. It was a breeze to install and set up. We had a different one which refused to work well. This one is super easy to install, great power, connectors are easily read and simple enough to install. Not sure about the power saving, since we don't use that feature.

I had problems in the beginning where I would press the power button and just hear the PSU click then shortly after the RAM would light up. However, that was due to my own fault. I tried to take a shortcut and just reconnect the SATA PSU cable from the old unit to the new instead of using this PSU dedicated cable. After correcting that everything worked properly. I do have two complaints. 1) I wish the Smart Fan switch was reversed. Instead of it being pressed in to disable Smart Fan I would rather it be to enable the feature. 2) I had hoped the cables such as the motherboard cable would be wrapped in nylon or all the wires molded together. That way you don't have four groups of cabling between the two connectors. I learned to cope with it though. It's a solid unit for the money. It's also smaller than my previous EVGA 1200w PSU and slid right in place. I'm very happy with it especially after having back to back EVGA PSUs fry on me within six months of each other. The white cabling matches my O11 Dynamic case perfectly and we will see how things go on down the road.

I was on the look out for a psu for a build I’m doing, this one is it not overly priced and best of all it’s modular too. The cables seem like good quality though make sure your itx case isn’t to big the mb 24pin is short Other than that I’m satisfied

I have bought well over a dozen Redragon PSUs ranging from 650W to 1000Ws, I mainly buy alot of 650w and 850w psus. I also tend to buy them used directly from redragon. They are an excellent budget option, I have had a single one be completly dead, which was dissapointing, but For the most part there are no issues and it was easy to return. There is not a coil whine issue with these units, nor is the fan particularly loud or present any issues. The RGB and the effects are pretty good. They can also just be turned off. Some of the effects I have no idea why anyone would use, but they certainly don't hurt. I would really like to see a 5v connecter to take control of the fan in the future, that way it can be synced to the rest of the lights. I feel that would really push this over. I put the white model alot in my builds as it is one of the most affordable white PSUs. Which is often necessary for cases that have gpu shrouds with mesh or cutouts, on white cases. The cables are fine, I have had a broken tab before on cables, but nothing bad. I always use cable extensions with these, so their look isn't super impactful. I'd recommend that to everyone.
