PhD Vegan Protein Superfood, Chocolate 500g

Having used only whey protein in the past, this was my first vegan protein powder.The first drink was definitely the worst - I think i put too much powder in, being used to the heaped spoons non-protein powders recommend. It was slimey and I gagged my way through half, I couldn't finish it. Now after drinking it two/three times a week for almost two months, I'm coming to the end of the bag and its definitely grown on me. I still find it best to try and get it over with and drink it down in one, but the taste no longer makes me feel ill.I found it does mix well in a mixer (haven't tried it in a glass), and I have noticed slight muscle increase. It also doesnt contain any caffeine which is great as I often drink it after an evening gym visit.Will be trying some new powders before purchasing this one again.

I’m desperately looking for a decent tasting lactose free protein powder. This one I bought based on the glowing reviews.....how foolish of me!!! I found this so unpalatable that after trying it with non dairy milk, then with water, both cold and room temperature ..... I gave up! I can honestly say that the flavour and texture resemble what I imagine bin juice with sand would taste like!Just super grateful that amazon allowed me to send it back for a refund! These powders are NOT cheap! I’m sick to death of wasting money on them! How hard is it to make a good tasting protein powder?!?!?

Delicious banana taste and mixes ok but a bit granular in texture (I don't mind this given the ingredients and being realistic)..I really felt I needed this as a vegan to help ensure I get my protein and the other additions such as matcha tea and supergreens are an absolute bonus.

Good but a bit too sweet and pack looks ancient and old. Product is OK but not like usual, maybe something impacted it

Had the berries and then banana. Both turn avocado green when mixed. Requires a good mixing technique . Top tip, Put a bit of liquid in before the powder. Tastes...erm, healthy. No gas after either :)

There are many better vegan protein powders on the market these days. The taste isn't great and it's extremely expensive compared to other brands.

I love this protein and I love how there are no nasty chemicals in it but it is never in stock and it is so expensive for such a tiny bag, I run out so quickly and can never buy another one

So unbearably sweet I can just about tolerate 10 g in 300 mL of water, and hardly noticed the chocolate flavour. I now use a small amount of this mixed with Nuzest Clean Lean Protein, which I prefer but is a bit lacking in taste. It's also expensive at full price, but I wouldn't buy again even with a 50 % discount.
