Matches older versions
This is the same bulb I bought from Parmida 4 years ago. The color matches and it is a full 7 3/4” so no shadow around housing on ceiling because of being the newer 7 3/8” housing.I bought more than I need to avoid a mess in the future.

Great product, doesn’t work In older cans.
These look and feel great. Nicely made out of metal, not plastic. They are not a true white, but are not glossy like others. The light output and dimming was perfect. As another mentioned in the comments, you do need a special tool to adjust to 5”. The issue I ran into is depth. My cans are over 20 years old and do not have a fixed/recessed bulb socket in the top/center of the can. The previous lights were also eyeball, but the socket clipped to the eye then the bulb was inserted from the outside. Though I could get them to fit (not snug), the loose socket forced the eyeball to one side and left it unable to move. My cans are only 4” depth and the light itself is almost 3”. Wanted to love them, but have to send back. No point in paying extra for the eyeball if I can’t adjust it.

Perfect match , to the ones installed in my home… the electrical cables fit perfect without the bulb piece. So keep these in stockThanjs

Works for 5" cans if you have a Torx T-10 screwdriver
We have some 5" recessed light cans but I read the reviews before ordering these lights (kudos to those who provided feedback). I do have a Torx T-10 screwdriver (for PC repair). Flipping the spring attachments (see product video) involve taking off two T-10 screws and was real easy. The overall installation took 5-10 minutes. However, once the spring attachments are flipped, they interfere with the pivot-joint rivets, and the light can only be rotated less than 180 degrees (tilt is not affected). It was not too much of an issue for us, but one would need to determine where these lights will be pointing at before flipping the spring attachments.

easy to install and very bright
Received and installed these yesterday and were a total breeze. They fit snugly, they rotate and swivel so you can get them aimed wherever you need them and are super bright so you definitely want a dimmer. I installed 4 in our living room which has vaulted ceilings. The existing recessed lights were fixed and all pointed into the center of the room due to the angle of the ceiling surfaces. This left shadows/uneven lighting. I aimed two of these down, one at a print on the wall above the fireplace and the remaining at print on another wall. With all 4 turned on, everything is very well lit. I went with cool white rather than warm because all of the walls are wood paneled and felt it would all be too yellow. These would be great in a kitchen, bathroom or task room of some sort. Probably too sterile for a bedroom, dining room or den.

These lights have a render color very nicely
Installed this lights to improve the display of art on the walls in our hallway. The directability and the 2700K color temp improves way the hallway art looks. The only issue is that they are difficult to install into 5" cans. First you have suss out that the screws to change them from 6" to 5" is T10 (Torx), then it was very tricky to hook the spring wires to the hooks inside the cans. It can be done but it is tricky. If the spring wires were a little longer the attachment could done much easier. That said, now that the installation is done I am happy with the lights.

Adjustable lens
My son easily installed these in our kitchen. Our old cans heated up the space way too much and collected dust over the years. These are the right brightness and worked well on our vaulted ceiling’s because you can direct the angle of light where you want it- my local chain stores only had the fixed lens and worked horrible.
