My wife has Altzhiemer's and can become confused, adgitated or unable to leave her bed. The camera notifies me if she's gone walkabout, and I can observe to make sure she's okay. By activating the motion detection on my phone (via the app), I'm aware if she's moving around and can check that all is well, or if I need to intervene.The setup is very simple; you will need to install the app on your smart device to pair and configure, but that's about it. Once set in position, the camera looks after itself. When it's dark in the room, you can hear a 'click' and the red LED's turn on for nightlight function. As this is a night light human eyes won't really notice it, even if the room is in total blackout, but it is enought to illuminate the frame with enough detail for monitoring. The app is logically designed and allows enough control and customisation of the device for most instance.The audio is adequate, and the image quality is perfectly acceptable, even at 720p.Adding this camera as a skill to your Alexa device means you can view the camera via your Fire TV device or Echo Show.The manufacturer offers a premium service to store content on their cloud, but as with anything made in that country of origin, you may want to give some serious consideration to what that could mean for your data privacy. If that is a concern, buy a memory card and insert it into the slot at the side of the camera.

Bought to spy on my cats when I aren’t home, it’s great quality! Easy to set up and really easy to use with the app! Quality of the footage is great and I get sensory notifications if they walk past. I want it for every room and will be purchasing again! Great value for money. Night vision is also great quality. There is a slight lag when altering the view myself but it’s fine!

The build quality is backed up with well written software to operate seamlessly on your phone and to accommodate many additional applications.It is very responsive and the information (alerts,videos)to iPhone is real time.I brought a 128gb micro disc memory card as an addition.Tipo do offer a contract to send information to the cloud which is reasonable priced and optional. For now I choose to use the backup of the 128 gb card which arrived next day.Thank you Amazon for delivering the cameras within 6 hours of placing the order using Prime delivery at no extra cost.Very satisfied overall

Very nice product, with an easy setup. So useful for watching kids or keeping an eye on the garden. You can rotate left and right. Just connect to your WiFi. Night vision too. You can set up multiple ones around the house.

Great little cameras that also track motion. Loads of features including different detection modes, night time infra red modes, and alarm modes, in addition to real time tracking of detected motion. All features can be controlled remotely via the Tapo app and can be added to the smart home ecosystem using shared routines. The quality is incredible for the price.
