As for value if taking their recommended dose 2 grams (2 scoops) this will last 100 days. I would consider this pretty good when compared to other sports nutrition products, which more often than not requires you to repurchase every couple months. As for taste, if mixed with just water, a very tart lemonade comes to mind, i personally like it. I have also mixed it with orange juice with similar results. As for its effectiveness, to put it very simply, workout "burn" is significantly mitigated when taking this product. There are plenty of sources online that can elaborate on this biological action. I wont go on a long training ride without first taking this as its ability to buffer lactic acid greatly increases my hill climbing stamina. Note this is not going to make you superman but along with a solid training program and sound nutrition this will be a nice compliment to your regime. Finally i would like to add that there is no noticeable immediate side effects when taking this product. I cant comment on long term effects but you will not feel as if you "took something", when dosing this. Great product i will be purchasing this again.
