3/8" x 2" - 100 Pack Wooden Dowel Pins - Kiln Dried, Fluted, and Beveled (3/8" x 2", 100pk)

I used these plugs in conjunction with a dowel kit to make some table tops. These dowels are good quality and suited the application I used them for perfectly. Recommended.

Wooden Dowels are a crap shoot often when I buy them… Some are good and some are- not so much.. These Rhino 1/4” x 1 1/2” as well x 1” hardwood dowels are on the plus side of the equation!!.. Well made and consistent, great “finish “, uniform sizing, easy to install and cost effective… Will certainly look to buy more Rhino Dowels in the future..

I've used about 30 of the dowels in the one bag of these that I bought. To me the two important points are the dowels are all consistent in size as evidenced by how they fit into the 30 odd dowel holes I used them for and I haven't seen a single dowel splintered, cracked, warped or otherwise "sub-par". They are all very consistent and well made. They hold up well to slight hammering to insure they're set, and being yanked out with pliers when I need to remove a couple - no crushing or splintering. Otherwise, they're dowels and do what we use dowels for, so there's not much else to report on. They've worked perfectly for my projects and I would not hesitate to buy more from this manufacturer.

These rhino dowel pins 3/8×2in were way to tight..then i read the review that said bake em in the oven 20min and wow! He was right!...they fit great now..then seal em in a jar..keep the moisture out and your good to go.

typical dowel pins used for woodworking joints. Hard wood, consistent length and width, good value for me.

To allow me to help in the case I came across a bleeding emergency, I put together a "Stop The Bleeding" first aid kit. It was outfitted from Amazon's products, to my own specific desire. >.. I used these wooden dowels in my "Stop The Bleeding" emergency pack. I have them attached with duct tape to my sterile compressed gauze packs. Although the compressed gauze is packed with notches already cur into the seals to make it easy to open, I found that with wet hands, or wet gloves, it was hard to grip the top tight enough to effectively open the pack easily. It was recommended to me that I reinforce the top of each pack with duct tape and a pair of wooden dowels to form an easy grip at both ends making it easier to grab the gauze and the wooden dowel, pull, and easily tear. >.. These are sized in an ideal way to fit under the duct tape, and above the notched spot on the seal. One tears a piece of regular cloth backed duct tape slightly longer than the top of the compressed gauze pack. Position one dowel at each end of the top, and apply the duct tape over the dowel, across the top of the pack, and above the notches. With both dowels held in place with the duct tape, fold it over to cover part of the other side of the pack also. Tear a second piece, apply it to the 'back' [doesn't matter] and fold it over the first piece, so that duct tape runs from just above one notch to the other, and the dowels are covered in tape as well. press firmly to attach the tape to the pack and the dowels. >.. Now wet hands (gloved I hope) can grip the gauze in the pack with one hand, the doweled edge with the other and easily tear open the sealed sterile compressed gauze. THIS WAS NOT MY IDEA, IT WAS RECOMMENDED TO ME.

The quality of Dowels is very bad, looks like been stored forever, and came with a very soft manual packing bags that can’t be stored. Don’t buy it it’s a total scam

dowels range in size from .380" to .385, which is too large to fit an accurate 3/8" hole. I was able to shrink them to a workable size by putting them in a 190F oven for 35 minutes. Other maker's dowel pins are more accurately sized.
