Very good item, comfortable and is a proper blackout product where others aren't. My wife also bought one, same brand but different style but she finds the product just as good. Also, bought one for a Christmas present for someone. I used when I stayed in hospital because the ward never turned the lights off over night which was understandable. The blackout mask did it's job and had a decent night's sleep. In addition, you don't feel the mask on your eyelids or eyes which was a bonus.

A comfortable sleep mask that does a great job blocking out light. The material feels soft and the design avoids putting pressure on the eyes, which makes it comfortable to wear for longer periods. It stays in place well during the night and helps create a darker sleeping environment. Overall a simple but effective sleep mask.

Comfortable & does the job

Ordered black eye mask for use following a recent hospital admission. Lights are so so bright and on all day long that hurts your eyes. These masks are absolutely brilliant. Block out all light. Means lovely undisturbed sleep. Except for usual nurse checks, blood pressure etc .well worth money paid and will recommend to others.

I’ve tried quite a few sleep masks in the past, but this one from Gritin really stands out. The fabric feels soft and comfortable on both sides, making it pleasant to wear throughout the night. It does an exceptional job of blocking out light—almost complete blackout—apart from a tiny bit at certain angles around the sides. Even then, it’s barely noticeable and easy to adjust by simply moving your head. One of my favorite features is the elastic strap. Unlike many other masks I’ve used, this one isn’t too tight or uncomfortable. It holds securely without putting pressure on your head, which makes a huge difference if you wear it for long periods. The only downside is that the included foam ear plugs are almost useless—they don’t block noise effectively, so I ended up using my own. Overall, this is a well-designed, very effective sleep mask that’s both comfortable and reliable. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a better night’s rest.

This mask has such a simple but effective design - it provides almost seamless light blockage while also avoiding pressing down on your eyes. For me, the 'eye pockets' are a little shallow to completely avoid catching my eyelashes - but it is leaps and bounds better than any other mask I have used! This mask is definitely best if you sleep on your back, though I have also used it sleeping on my side without too much fuss. (It is just that you will lose the '3D' effect of the mask on that side, causing it feel similar to a normal sleep mask.) Construction and quality-wise the fabric is soft and seems to be colour-fast (i.e. hasn't died the pillow!) The headband is made of thick elastic with a sliding fastener, which seems durable and unlikely to stretch out too quickly. Overall, I think this is really good value for something that just 'works' without too many overpriced gimmicks. It has really helped block out light in the mornings and improve my sleep quality! Quick warning: the instructions say you need to hand wash the mask before using it for the first time! Mine took about 24 hours to dry, which isn't a huge amount of time but does mean that you can't use it straight out of the box.

Definitely blackout. Really soft on the face. Adjustable to fit. Great design so no gaps when you wear this that would let the light in. Love the space for the eyes, especially for girls with lash extensions. Definitely value for money

First Impression The packaging was neat and well-presented. It arrived in a white box with tissue wrapping and even included two packets of ear plugs, which I didn’t realize came with it. There was also a small card noting that the mask should be washed before use. The mask itself looked sleek, felt very soft, and I liked that the strap was adjustable. It would have been nice if it also came with a small travel pouch to keep it clean while on the go. Design & Comfort The mask is simple in design but effective. The material is soft, and the adjustable strap makes it easy to fit. I purchased this because of its ergonomic design with extra padding around the eyes, which I hoped would be better for my eyelashes since I often sleep on my face. Performance I was impressed with the blackout effect, it completely blocked light, even when I shone a flashlight over it. It also stayed securely in place throughout the night, which was a big plus. However, I found it uncomfortable when sleeping on my stomach, as the padding put too much pressure around my eyes. Final Thoughts This is a great product for travel, perfect for planes, cars, or anywhere you need to block out light. Unfortunately, after four nights of use, I had to return it because the pressure from the padding gave me headaches. I’d still recommend it for people who don’t sleep on their face and want a reliable blackout mask, but it may not suit everyone.
