Bought as a gift for my father in law he stays cold now that he’s older he was very pleased and he was able to charge , instructions were accurate and easy to follow

I do own one other heated vest that gets warm in the front, back, and neck. This one intrigued me because of the additional heating areas. What I like about the vest is that if feels thick and top quality. It fits well and has a bigger battery to power the additional heating coils and last a long time. The heating is nice and it does a great job of keeping you warm. I also like how the battery is 7.4v instead of 5v which means it heats faster and gets warmer over all. The one grip I have about it is due to one of the things I like about it. The battery is pretty dang heavy. The other vest I have uses a 5,000mah battery and this one uses a 16,000mah battery which is more than triple the capacity. Again I like that for longevity, but the trade off is that you feel the weight of the battery. The other small thing is in relation to the location of the heating coils in front. Why not make it a little lower by the hand pockets? Wouldn’t that make sense to be able to warm your hands in the vest instead of just your chest? Overall, I am very happy with the product and would recommend it to other buyers. It seems to be a really great product so far.

This heated vest with battery included arrived in a very nice zippered nylon case. After reviewing the instructions, I inserted the battery, which indicated it was at 75% power. It heated up quickly and worked several minutes, but then stopped working, and I could not get it to work again. I then decided to fully charge the battery which took a number of hours (seller states a full charge takes 9 hours). After the battery was fully charged, I tried it again and it worked again. So, I am not sure if there was a wiring / connection issue or if the initial 75% battery full indicator was wrong (and the battery was not charged). It is still quite warm here so I haven’t done a long-term test just yet. I am hoping this heated vest does work because it really seems like a very nice value-priced item. It fits me a little snugly as I was hoping so I could wear it under a heavier coat in really cold weather. The material used is a good quality and water repellent, and the vest itself is substantial with significant fill for warmth. I like the idea that the lighted control buttons are inside the jacket rather than on the outside. The 2 buttons allow the selection of picking 1 of 2 heating zones (4 heating elements on the back and neck or 4 heating elements on the front and shoulders) or the entire vest. In addition to color-coded high, medium, and low heat settings, there is a “smart” setting that starts of at high, then switches to medium after 5 minutes. The battery is pretty large and weighty, but there is a special inside pocket that holds it nicely and I quickly forgot about it.In addition to the zippered battery pocket, there are 2 zippered pockets for your hands, and another zippered pocket inside the vest; all of the zippers operated well for me. I will do more testing to ensure everything is operational and update this review as appropriate. If all goes well, my rating will be upgraded to 5 stars.

We ordered his regular size (2X) and it fit just right with a little room for comfort. It offers heat in just the right areas and has controls for each area. The remote is easy to access and the battery has a long life - even when on high. He is so pleased and is looking foreword to ice fishing.

I got this one for the coming winter. I think this is going to work well. It heats up fairly quickly and keep warm for a long time. It fits me very well.

Was a little disappointed in the battery charge. It seems to be only about 70% of what’s noted in the directions

This is a perfect gift for someone! If going to wear underneath just get your normal size, but if planning to wear over sweatshirts I would size up!

I bought this for my husband for Christmas he really likes it but now the battery is not holding the charge anymore .I would like the seller to tell me why this happening would like to have battery replaced .
