Command & Conquer: Generals Deluxe - C&C Generals & Zero Hour Expansion Pack

Right, the first thing I ought to mention about this game is graphics! DO NOT BUY UNLESS YOU HAVE A DEDICATED GRAPHICS CARD OF 32MB or OVER! This game runs atrociously on PC's that have onboard graphics controllers that share VRAM. Now thats out of the way, if you have a good graphics card and decent PC this game is VERY enjoyable to play. Although I hate EA for busting up Westwood, I have to commend the new style. It does not feel like Command and Conquer, but the new style of construction and productions is very enjoyable and more realistic that previous C and C. The missions that are in the game are very good and take place in global hotspots such as China and the middle east. The three sides in this game are the USA, China and the GLA (a terrorist group). Each side has unique units and finally in Command and Conquer we have three sides and not one is stronger than the other. (I point mainly to Soviets and Allies). The USA command high technology and are formidable in the air. China can mass produce units like hell can set on fire and have some strong ground based units. The GLA units are very cheap so they can bumrush you with very weak but effective units. Overall I would say generals is a new step in the evolutions of C and C. I appreciate the new style and it is a welcome change into the RTS franchise that blew the lid off of strategy. Just heed my warning at the top lol ;)

I had this game many years ago and it was great! I spent many hours on campaign, skirmish and online and its just awesome! Best c&c by far and one of my favourite games of all times. Just purchased it again as I got a new laptop and I cant keep away from it, graphics for its time are very good and the armies in the game are really good, a game you can easily spent many hours on and still want to play more!

Recieved it much earlier than what my order confirmation said, good thing there's a dispatch email and tracking feature. As for the game: it almost drove me insane trying to get it running. It would ask for admin to run it then do nothing. After searching every possible advise blog and video to find a solution I came across a YouTube video. It was called "C&C Generals /Zero Hour Fix for Windows 10 (Test!!!)" by Randomcompstuffz. There he demonstrates how to patch the game (with link to needed files). Most importantly...... IT WORKS!!!!!

Excellent product good value does all it says on the box😀

Its not a bad game but the controls feel clunky compared to older C&C games and some of the strategy element is missing compared to older C&C games, with more emphasis on modern weapons and less on things like soldiers and dogs. This comes with four disks, takes a long time to install and takes up a lot of space for what it is.

Ordered a used C&C Generals Deluxe Edition with 4 CDs, advertised as good quality. -Delivery was quick (from UK to Germany) -Product obviously used (little scratches on one CD) but overall in very good quality and fully functional (far better than I usually would have expected) -Knew the Game before, still loving it. works fine on Windows 8 (but I'm running it in Vista compability mode from the beginning on) Can fully recommend the seller. Got what was advertised and quick delivery

Does not work on Windows 10, Microsoft worked remotely on my laptop but they were at a loss to find out why also. If you could get around the programming, Microsoft didn't seem to know how. If Bill Gates can't get it working, I have no chance! I get a new game not working on an old computer but can't fathom how an old game can't be supported by a new computer!

I ordered this game for my son, he wanted to play online with his friends. The game was installed and it throws up a few errors with being so old, but after comsulting the forums we fixed the glitches. Next up he tries to play online, but the activation code shows up as invalid. The game came new and sealed. I contacted the seller and they weren't interested. Have tried EA games customer services and they suggested creating a new admin account on the pc and reinstalling, this still didn't work. If anyone knows how to fix this problem I would be grateful! If you want to play just on your pc fine go ahead get it, if you want to lay multiplayer forget it!

Best RTS game ever, feels as fresh in 2019 to play as it did back in the early 2000s. However; the game WILL NOT run on operating systems beyond Vista. I'm running Windows 10 on numerous laptops and bought multiple copies to play with my nephews, when I realized this game was too old to run I didn't just throw my hands in the air and give up. It IS possible to make this game run perfectly on a modern OS, but admittedly very difficult but I've performed the methods to making it run on 3 different laptops running windows 10. There are bits and pieces of detailed instructions across the internet that include: typing an options file and saving as .ini, then dropping it into a specific folder, updating the game to version 1.04, patching the game with a "no-cd" crack (most important step, game not running is mainly due to the newer Operating system not reading old security measures) and finally fixing the games resolution to that of your modern monitor. If you're a hardcore fan like I was, these tedious steps are well worth it once you're finally playing. If you're not computer savy, however, don't bother buying this game you'll never be able to get it to run unless you keep a spare computer running windows 98, 2000, XP or Vista.

bien reçus la commande mais vus c'est occasion que je l'est acheter mais il devrait fait attention avec les image de présentation c'est pas le coffret mais dans en boite DVD avec la jaquette et bien original pas de problème il Install bien

Image mensongère ce n'est absolument pas une boite comme sur la photo mais un vulgaire petit boitier de plus je l'ai reçu avec un CD manquant
