The Haunted Mansion: Madame Leota Crystal Ball: With light and sound! (RP Minis)

As a lifelong collector of HM memorabilia with a pretty huge collection, I can honestly say this is one of the neater pieces I have. While others have noted the diminutive size, I'd have to disagree; if the item was much larger it would lose a lot of its charm. The audio has presence without being overly loud or harsh and I love how repeated presses of the activation button allows for Madame Leota's entire invocation to be enjoyed. I also like how a the light can be activated and left on as a nice ambient presence. My only wish is that the item could be powered using AC so as to not drain the batteries with long term use (night light, anyone?). Finally, one asset I haven't seen noted in any reviews or pics is the the head is a 180 degree 3D engraving with a delightful texture that looks like smoky ectoplasm manifesting ( I mean, I guess. I've never really seen ectoplasm actually do so, lol), so you can rotate the item and enjoy different viewpoints. The little Book Of Invocations that's included is also quite a treat. The bottom line is that this is a wonderful addition to any HM fan's collection and is a tremendous value for the price.

This is a cute small little item that I have sitting by my desk. It brings a smile to my face when I push the button and see Madame Leota's face and hear her voice. It's plenty loud. The glass ball is heavy, so just don't knock it over, which I haven't done yet.

WOW, I don't usually leave reviews but I felt compelled to leave one for this because of how impressed I was with this product! First of, the globe is made of HEAVY REALY GLASS with a really cool 3D effect! I thought it might be a cheap plastic ball, but no! It is HEAVY high quality glass. The book it comes with is really cool too, and the sound bites are exactly from the ride! Honestly, for this price point, it is just an unbelievable collectable for such a great price! I HIGHLY recommend it!!

Bought this as a cake topper for our daughter’s Haunted Mansion themed birthday and it was absolutely perfect! The size was great and it is very heavy. I do wish there was a way that the globe would stay lit without pressing the button but all in all this is a great product!

Please realize is this is a mini, just over three inches high. But it is beautifully detailed and the crystal ball is heavy. The base is plastic but the ball is glass/crystal with a nice heft to it. The etching (?) within the ball is very detailed for the size and looks very ghostly even when not lit. I bought this on a lark cause I love the Haunted Mansion (and much prefer Leota over the Hitchhiking ghosts) and the reviews were good. I am absolutely delighted and wanted to add my voice to the reviews. For under $20 this is fantastic.

My wife really likes it and it is. I’m a small side. The sound is good, but the base is extremely fragile. Definitely giving what you pay for because it’s nothing fancy. It’s cute though.

It's a lot smaller than I expected, but I'm not mad since it makes packing my Halloween decorations easy. There's a tiny button on the front of the base that makes sounds and lights the crystal ball up.

Really good quality. The glass ball is actually bery detailed and heavy (its not plastic), and the sound quality is good. Fun to wake your favorite Disney parks fan up with in the middle of the night.
