A great addition to our boat
This is really attractive. I bought this for my husband for Christmas. He installed in our boat and it looks great. It seems to be accurate. This was a good buy. We saw one the same in a touristy fishing port town for twice the price. I'm glad iI waited.

Was totally cracked and box was already open!

barometer is useless
Nice looking but functionally useless. The barometer doesn’t move freely, a light tap on the glass and it may move a bit. I checked and adjusted it against the local weather station. I decided to keep in in the house because I can’t imagine it will work at all bouncing around on the sailboat. I got this as a gift or I would return it. Junk.

Hey it ooks nice up in the garage
Save your money for something else, there is not enough movement in the barometer to warrant this purchase. Every time it rains I am expecting this guy to swing over to "Rain" (29.1") or "Stormy" (28.7") but just stays at 29.9" ("Fair") . You get warned in the paperwork. Put it in a plastic bag and sucked the air out of it and the needle moves but...hey it looks nice up in the garage, but I keep shaking my head, I tap on the glass, the needle drops a bit, its raining outside at 29.8" ("Fair") Ty Strong Mechanical Engineer

Perfect gift
Bought this set for my husband as an anniversary present. He was completely blown away. He's had a smile on his face for days. This set replaced a very inexpensive set I bought years ago when that was all we could afford. The clock finally died and that's when I decided to replace the set. Couldn't be happier with the results.
