I admit it. So, I figured that at this price I had nothing to lose. When I received this case it was very well packaged. Triple shrink wrapped! I read bad reviews on OTHER cases, not this one. People were stating how hard it was to install, that it cracked, etc. Not this case. I had it installed within minutes, literally. The case has a nice soft feel. Obviously it does add a tiny bit of bulk - not a negative. The main reason I purchased it is because the aluminum gets very cold when I first use my MacBook Air. Silly reason I know, but that matters to me. Now I have a case that not only feels awesome, but seems very well made. The price is so low, you just can't go wrong. Not a fingerprint magnet. Excellent quality. Protects my MacBook physically as well. Love it!Update #1: One week later and I am sad to report a few problems...1) The cover is great, but, it just picks up too much fingerprint natural skin oil markings which are unavoidable.Then...2) In all out attempts to clean the case with any cleaner and microfiber cloths, it never really gets clean. Swirl marks prevail and it scratches easily too, even with a fingernail. It just gets worse.3) The added weight. I was willing to deal with this but it kinda takes the AIR out of the MacBook Air. It also puts undo pressure on the lid causing it to fold back with out my doing so. In the long term, this is really bad because it will affect the MacBooks cover hinge and could possibly damage it.Lastly, which may not be a problem for some, it does not fit into two of my cases because of the added thickness.I removed the cover carefully and will be forced to return it. Just not worth the hassle of using it, cleaning it and positioning the cover. The beautiful Apple aluminum silver casing is just so easy to keep clean. I am not a road warrior or a frequent flyer or a student. Its just not for me. Hope I helped. I am not trying to be too critical, certainly based on the price. For some, maybe it will work.Update #2: I reached out to the manufacturer, MOBILITY ELECTRONICS. After making them aware of the problems I was having...they sent me out a BRAND NEW one in Grey to try. This kind of excellent customer service should be recognized.
