Very pleasantly surprised
Given the price, I wasn't expecting much from this rod rack, but I was pleasantly surprised. The rack assembled easily, (less than 10 minutes), held several light- to medium-weight rod/reel combos securely, and thus far seems stable despite the weight of the equipment. I have owned several rod racks over the years, and although all were considerably more expensive than the KastKing V16, from a functionality standpoint, there is virtually no difference. (If anything, the KastKing V16 is superior to the other rod racks I have owned because it has a smaller footprint.) Overall, a good product at a great price that should provide years of service. Pros: Excellent price point Holds several rod/reel combos Functional design, (the top tray for other equipment is nice, though the fishing line spool holder seems unnecessary) Well built/sturdy, particularly given its plastic composition Small footprint Assembles easily (see "cons" for additional information) Cons: Threaded nut that secures the base to the bottom tray did not go on or tighten easily Foam inserts seem looser than comparable foam retention "clips" on other vertical rod holders Suggestion: Great design overall, but adding a ball-bearing ring on the underside of the bottom tray would enable the product to be easily rotated in place. For some people, the inability to turn the rod holder is not an issue. But given the space-saving design, particularly for users storing multiple rod/reel combos, it makes sense to have such a feature.

Compact and organized
The first thing i tried with this rod holder was balance. I figured most people are going to set this in a corner or up against a wall, so i loaded six rods all on the same side to see if it was still stable. I could see my self grabbing a rod with one hand and pulling the whole thing over but was pleased to see that the foam rod holders were just snug enough to keep the rods upright and need very little effort to remove. I was able to remove a rod one handed without holding on to the entire stand to keep it from tipping over. The entire rack is attractive and built well. The staggered base plates are a good design so the reels are not in contact with each other. Just remember if you have a ceiling height of 8' you wont be able to store a 7' 5" or longer rod on the top plate. There are six that are floor level and six that are about 7" above. If there is one thing I would like to see added would be a carousel so you could spin it around to select the rod you want if its in the back corner or against the wall but its not heavy so not that big a deal. Overall this is a really good product.

Good with flaws
The rod rack is pretty solid for the money. It has enough space to hold rod all kinds of rods except one surf rod that is too thick for the clamp. Installation was easy and has very little room to go wrong. However, the rotation base does not work very well. Although it does work, the rotation is not very smooth. And because the rods are held together tightly, it feels a bit flimsy when rotating when heavily loaded. The bottom of the base does not sit flat on the floor and it wiggles a little, which make it even more unstable especially if you have a heavier rod on one side. Overall it is a good looking product that works as described. The flaws are not too bad for the price you pay.

Love this product
Has held all my rods in my living room for years now. Lightweight, easy to assemble, holds all my rods from catfish/surf, bass, panfish. Very sturdy. Bought my brother one I was so happy with mine. Elite Product!

Waste of money
Item uses foam to hold the rods in place. They aren't strong enough and my rods randomly fall out all the time. Over priced for what it is. Look elsewhere for your gear.

Pretty good rod holder.
We have had this stand for about 8 months and it’s not sturdy. The rods fall out (the flip isn’t strong enough to hold the rods) and cause the entire stand to be wobbly. In hindsight, I would not recommend it. UPDATE: I was contacted by the company weeks after I did my review. And they kindly apologized for my experience with the rod holder and they refunded my money. I would purchase items from them again just because of the amazing response. I wanted people to know my experience not even realizing they would read these comments and respond. THIS IS HOW YOU TREAT CUSTOMERS! I appreciate this company’s willingness to make things right. Great job.

Needs improvement
Good idea on concept however the foam inserts are weak and polls fall out of them constantly. It also rocks back and forth so it's not a level bottom. Spins well and helps organize, provides a lot of ease of access assuming some of your poles don't get tangled up after they fall out. After some alterations it works a lot better
