I sew a fair amount; not for beauty for for pleasure (adding patches to my backpacks) and for service (making repairs). I was in need of a curved needle to help me preserve my winter jacket, which had begun to tear at the pockets from many years of stress. (See photo). Please don't judge this product by the quality of my sewing, but by how the needle allowed me to make the repair. I needed to go through many layers of tough fabric and the curved needle allowed me to do that. If, like me, you keep a sewing kit or cabinet this will be a welcome addition to your arsenal. Plus, I feel very good about supporting a business from The Ukraine. The needles are sharp and the value for the money cannot be beat.

I have two dogs who love toys. Fabric toys. Fluffy fabric toys with squeakers. And fluffy fabric toys with things that need to be chewed. And even Kevlar fiber toys which are guaranteed for chewers... only the manufacturers trim the seams too close and after 30 minutes with Harvey (half pug, half pit), the new Pink Piggy pops a seams in her side. These needles have enough strength to pierce any kind of fabric and allow me to stitch the recent Toy Victim back together no matter if the manufacturer trimmed the seams too closely, or used a batch of weak thread, or chose fabric that failed in the jaws of a 20 pound seriously playful dog. Stella (elegant and delicate Siberian) is less destructive... except when Harvey snatches one of her prized Babies that have a chip that mimics the sound of the Baby Animal. She carefully nurtured her EXPENSIVE babies happily and gently. Then Harvey joined us. He likes their sound so he steals them when she's not looking and his tiny pug-pit teeth do their work. Hence, her babies also come into my Dog Toy Surgery for repair. These needles are invaluable! Must haves! They are also good for upholstery, carpeting, weak stitching on purses, for heavy fabrics, for leather moccasin repair. You name it. You choose your weapon. They glide in and out. (Get a good thimble.)

This assortment of heavy duty sewing needles is just what I ordered. It’s made in Ukraine and seems to be good quality. I will know more later once I have used them a few times. I look forward to trying them out.

These are some seriously great needles! Finally got around to using the different sizes for projects, and wow! They held up amazing! Will definitely order from them again!

Ideal sharpness for repairing dog toys though you will find many other uses. The selection of sizes is appreciated also. Cost effective addition to my craft and sewing kit. Recommend metal or leather thimble to ease glide on thick fabrics.

Good value for the money. Multiple usages and sizes. Good usages for people who are having a difficult time seeing needle eye.

I do a lot of hand-sewing - repairing clothes, hemming curtains, mending rips in upholstery/blankets (if you have animals, you feel me) - partly because I'm poor and partly because sewing machines can be a pain in the ass for delicate/specific work. I was looking for a new needle set for darning denim because the Walmart ones bend on me and came across this company. Thought "Sure, why not?" and gave them a try on a whim. I could not be happier. For anyone who likes wide-eye and thicker-bodied needles, you've come to the right listing. All of the needles except the curved ones come in tubes to help keep them separate (which also helps storage!) which are labelled with their size. The labels for the specialty needles will also say that specialty (eg. there's leather and sail needles included). It really is an all-in-one set, unless you need fine/small needlework (though they do have other listings for those types). They come sharp, organized and ready to use. I cannot recommend them enough. And as a bonus on top of that, they're a small business from Ukraine! (Wishing you guys the best, and try to stay safe. Slava Ukraini!)
