Review: Pfister Rebuild Successful - My ten year old Pfister kitchen faucet was starting to leak at the pivot point. Pretty common of this model and all similar designs and brands. With a simple O-ring kit and Danco Waterproof Silicone Faucet Grease I was able to do a quick rebuild, stop the leak, and get everything working again. It was easily to apply, didn't make a mess, didn't stink up the house, and worked exactly as designed. The 0.5oz container was more than enough to last a long time. At less than six bucks, it was a great value. Would definitely buy again.

**Q: In what way does your grease 88693 differ from your grease 80360? both seem to have the same product description and applications.**
A: Thank you for your interest in Danco products. Silicone grease has a higher silicone content, making it better for a long term lubricant, such as on an O-ring that will be sliding. Waterproof grease is good as an installation aid, for inserting parts that will be making a seal and not be moving again.

**Q: if it's food grade, why does it say keep out of reach of children?**
A: I can't say for sure, but I would guess that although it is intended for use in water systems where it will not dissolve into the water while in use and it contains no chemicals that would get into the water, it should not be used as a lip balm, a skin cream, put in nose or ears, or eaten by children or whatever else they might try to do with it. **Q: Can this be applied to the o ring for the (whole house) water filter canister, I need something watertight but also I can take it apart every month.**
A: Yes.  I use this on my whole house Filter, & on my under sink filter to lubricate the rubber O rings.  Works well. Unlike Vaseline or similar petroleum based lubricants, it will not dissipate and does not appear to degrade over time.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Quick fix for a squeaky faucet using no tools but a bit of grease

I’m not a plumber and haven’t any tools. But what I had was an annoying Delta or Moen kitchen sink faucet that swings from side to side with a bit of resistance but a whole lot of squeaking. Found this silicone grease and without dismantling the faucet I pulled the housing up slightly and applied the grease to where the o-rings are presumably. Then shifted the housing down and applied it to the top as well. Quiet now, can hear the crickets. Such a simple fix to a poorly designed faucet.
