If one wants to know the Grandeur of God, this is one of the Best book to read and also follow. This book has the crisp and straight forward narration of the events happened during Samudra Manthan (The Churning of ocean) and awe-inspiring stories behind invoking each verses of the powerful Sri Suktam . Every story is mentioned to be written exactly as it happened many years ago without any coating or modification which is probably a rarest of rare. I have not read or heard these narratives before. Reading once is not enough, this book has become a part of my daily routine. Chanting these verse while knowing the exact and esoteric meaning is once in a lifetime opportunity. It is well written describing the a story & meaning behind every sloka of Sri Suktam. It imbibes good narration of stories and helps soak in the true glow of mother goddess in readers heart. Very happy to have this treasure in my devotional story and chants collection.

I just finished this wonderful work. Been working on learning more about Goddess Lakshmi. I also been using the Sadhana app which I recommend highly if you don't have a Temple near or just want to do puja anywhere. This book truely cover Sri Suktam in depth. It gives all verses with English translations. But also breaks it down into portions to be read easily and study. It also lists the mantras that are in it and what they mean. Well worth the cost and the read. Will be rereading for remembering.

The stories clarified the analogies, the specific names, and their significance in a way that you retain in your mind long after you have memorized the shlokas. The book is a beautiful introductory explanation of Sri Suktam for beginner level spiritual seekers. It is very readable, although the seemingly simply worded subject matter is profound. I had not heard of Om Swami. This book was 'auto recommended' by Amazon on book search. And I thank Amazon for it. I am looking forward to reading more books by Om Swami.

You would have never heard of the Vedic verses of Srisuktam in such a way that it unfolds an entire vedic civilization and what transpired in half a million years in such a way and in sequence. With every verse as Swamiji unfolds the stories of how each verse got invoked, it will fill your heart for immense love and longing for mother divine. A detailed description of the Mother Divine with her various aspects—the journey of eons with different sages invoking different verses with different intentions, and receiving blessings and GRACE in return. This book was so beautifully written that it made me fall in love with Sri Suktham. I’m blessed to have found this book. I was so sad to read the last page as I didn’t wish for the book to end. It made me feel the love the author had for our deities.
