I didn’t realize how heavy my mixer was until I added this slider. It’s makes it effortless to slide the mixer around on the counter. The dark wood makes it look fancy I think too. The wood is great quality and fits perfectly under the Kitchen Aid.

After 27 years, my old KA artisan mixer croaked. I bake so often, it justified upgrading to the 7 qt mixer. But, the 7 qt is way too big for the appliance lift the old one occupied, so it has to live on my countertop. This sucker is heavy and I didn’t want to scratch the soapstone every time I drag it forward to use. Enter this handy little slider. It’s perfectly sized, black so it blends right into my countertop and is so smooth and easy to move around. It also seems pretty sturdy to me - I’ve had zero issues with it. I’m now going back and gifting everyone I know with a stand mixer one of these- it’s just so convenient!

I really like this! Our Kitchenaid sits in the deepest corner of our kitchen counter and I'm only 4'11". I have a hard time reaching that far back for it and pulling it forward to use it, so with the board it's easier to pull forward and to push backwards. I still need 2 hands to pull forward but I can push back with 1 hand. Makes it a lot easier than using a kitchen towel. underneath.

This slider mat for my mixers is amazing. Before this mat each time I would use them they would bounce bounce bounce pulling forward on the counter. Now they just slide with ease and I don’t have to worry about damaging my mixers pulling them forward. The price is amazing for being bamboo and they wipe off easily once I'm done with the damp cloth. they fit my 5.5 quart mixer beautifully and they slide back just as easily as they slide forward.

Wish I had purchased this years ago as it worked great with my Kitchen Aid Stand Mixer! No more bouncing on counter top when in use. And…..the gliders make the mixer so easy to move back in place when mixing is completed.
