I love the kitten and she's "asleep" on the cat bridge (that my cats refuse to touch). She's so cute up there. I did remove the battery because her "purring" drove me nuts. It sounded more like snoring than purring.

Daughter loves it, not a hard bottom like others we seen. Lightweight and looks realistic for the most part. Agree with other reviews about it sounding robotic. Quality and functionality seems durable. It’s been a week and it’s still breathing haven’t had to replace the batteries. Came with cite accessories. It doesn’t move other than the breathing.

No no no. Who wants anything to make a mechanical breathing sound for two months straight without being able to turn it OFF! Goes constant for two months till the battery dies?. Would have kept it if it was sensor activated …. Like breathes when you pet it. Would drive me nuts !

This was cute while it lasted. It did breathe and make purring noises but, the battery dead really fast. It wasn’t heavy at all and the quality was made well. The size of the cat was just right.

This was a joy!!! I have been thinking of a robot kitten for a long time. I was looking for a robot kitten for my wife for Christmas, we had two cats that we had to have them put down because of illness. That broke our hearts! We still think about them all the time. My wife and I miss them so much! So I started looking for a robot Kittens. I found them on the Amazon's website. I talked it over with my wife for her input, she said great idea! So I ordered 2, the orange tabby we named Ollie after our original Tabby. I also ordered a calico cat from Amazon, which we named Millie after the original Millie, which is coming on December 27. The orange tabby is amazing to watch, he is in his bed and asleep. We both say good morning to him every day. It amazing to watch him "breath" and his stomach goes up and down. When I asked about getting a robotic kitten she was worrying about they would be running all over the house and had her concerns about being a tripping hazard. We both liked the idea of no cat box, no feeding, and no vet bills. We love them!!!

UPDATED REVIEW BELOW...I have to say this little kitten is just simply adorable. She is silent until you get your ear directly over her... then it sounds like really purring. She is delightful. Even my husband thought she was adorable. I have serious pet allergies and this seemed like a little comfort without the allergic reaction. I am surprised at how realistic it looks and feels. Now, you won't really want to "cuddle" her.... she is a bit stiff, particularly on the bottom. But you could hold her in your lap and pat her. She comes with a lovely pet bed, a wooden backed brush and the cardboard box she comes in converts into a pet carrier if you'd like. There is an adoption form to fill out if you'd like. She takes 1 D cell battery... and yes, the battery box is screwed down. There is a slight chemically odor when you first open it.. but it dissipates quickly. Didn't notice within a few hours of opening. I included a video so you can get a better feel for it. I feel like it was worth every penny! When I get annoyed by the sound I have to take the battery out... as others have said, an on and off switch would be preferable than screw down battery case. Just a little disappointed. UPDATE: 10/30/2016.... I have had this little kitty for a couple of months and she is still going - no battery changes yet. The "mechanical sound" sort of comes and goes... My 5 year old grandson is really enamored of her. He brushes her and coos to her that she is "sooo cute." So. That's worth it, right? It is oddly soothing to have it just sitting there... "breathing." I do wish there was an on and off switch and the quality would allow quiet, non mechanical sounds...and maybe softer so you could actually snuggle it.

Due to circumstance my granddaughter could not have a pet so I purchased this for her birthday. It is very cute & lifelike, however not something she can cuddle as it does not bend, ie will only lay flat which is disappointing.

Ma fille a de la misère à s'endormir et nous avons des chats à la maison. Quand nos chats n'ont pas le goût de rester dormir avec elle, elle peut prendre son toutou chat, le met sur son ventre et le flatte. Elle adore le fait que son ventre bouge comme s'il respire pour de vrai et il y a un léger bruit de ronronnement(sûrement le bruit du mécanisme à l'intérieur) Pour l'instant, l'achat date de 2 mois et la batterie fonctionne encore. Ça peut fonctionner aussi lors de crises de panique ou de colère, un enfant peut le mettre sur son ventre et le flatter tout en regardant la respiration du chat.

I purchased this for my mother who has Alzheimer's and we just had to rehome her beloved cat. The product is smaller than expected and the "purring" is very mechanical and you are not able to turn off (no on off switch). The battery requires a screw driver to remove the casing so it is difficult for anyone to easily remove the battery to make it stop. Also you cannot return this item so buyer beware.

Doesn’t not responsable to what I expect , do not have eyes, do not have an on and off button , it is more to put on a Shelf than to give to a children

Comforting and stress reliving but I wish the bottom wasn't flat and the batterie isn't easy to take out.
