Takes a bit of patience, practice & an eye for color blending . . . but wonderful results
I bought a vanity countertop that arrived with a cracked backsplash. It wasn't cracked in two pieces (yet), and the crack happened to be smack in the middle of the backsplash which means it would be partially hidden because it's directly behind the faucet. The vendor wasn't able to just replace the backsplash, so rather than ship the entire thing back and delay installation, I accepted their discount. Our contractor suggested trying a product such as this . . . especially since it was still in one piece. Once installed, there would be no stress on the piece itself, so the repair would be for aesthetic reasons only. My review relates just to my aesthetic repair so I'm not sure how this product would work for a more structural mend. Let me start by saying I am completely happy with the results. Following are some tips, pros and cons . . . although the cons are more warnings than actual cons. Tips: - be patient. This project took some time. I applied this in two coats, so including drying time, this project spanned 2 days. - don't use the gloves that come with this (they're too loose and get in the way), but do use tight fitting latex-type disposable gloves. The color pots are so, so teeny that there is no way to open them without getting product all over your fingers so you definitely need to wear gloves. - the product is extreeeemely sticky and gooey. It's very much the consistency of hot glue coming out of a glue gun except it's not hot and doesn't dry as fast. - If possible, lay your item flat. The product is thick, so if your repair happens to be on a vertical area it shouldn't run out of the repair area, but this is meticulous work and working on a flat horizontal area is much easier than working on a vertical one. - a little goes a long way with the color dyes. My material is a dark moon stone which is a dark grey matte finish mottled with greys and taupe. I mixed a pea size scoop of each product, and just stuck the tip of a toothpick in the black, then the tip of another toothpick in the brown. I mixed these all together and lucked out and got the perfect shade of grey-brown. - if your fill area is small, toothpicks may work better than the wood mini-popsicle sticks that come in the box. My crack was a hairline crack with only a few tiny chips missing. I used a toothpick to mix the product, add dots of color dye, and used another clean toothpick to apply. - overfill areas knowing that scraping away excess is better than trying to apply this evenly and level - if your repair is on a completely smooth surface and you have a razor blade scraper, that worked beautifully for me to remove excess fill instead of wiping. My chips were so shallow, that when I wiped away excess, this would pull the fill out from the chipped areas. - keep an eye on it to find the perfect time to scrape away excess. Too soon and scraping will pull product out from your repair, but wait too long and it's too solid to use a razor on. I didn't time my project, but I'd say that I used the razor about 3-4 hours after filling my shallow crack and chips. Pros: - water soluble! Any product that gets on your workspace/countertop or your hands can be washed away with soap and water, or sprayed with a little bleach and just wiped off. Cons/things to take note of: - again, the stickiness of this product makes it tedious and not very easy to work with - both jars of product came only 1/4 filled. They were both completely sealed, so I don't think it was defective packaging, but I was a little surprised to see such a small amount of product in each jar. - the color pots on the other hand, are teeny tiny and filled to the brim with dye. I have pretty small hands and they weren't the easiest to open. You need to use your thumbnail to pry the top off and there's no way to do so without getting quite a bit of dye on your fingers. Overall :) See attached photos for before, during and after. Very happy with the results.

works just fine
I used a countertop repair kit to fix a few small chips and cracks on my kitchen counter, and I’m really impressed with how well it worked. My countertop has a quartz surface, and there were a couple of places where the finish had gotten damaged over time. This repair kit made it so easy to fix those spots. The instructions were clear, and the product was simple to apply. Once I filled in the cracks and smoothed the surface, the repairs blended in almost perfectly with the original countertop. One thing I really appreciated was how quickly the repair set dried. After just a few hours, the repaired areas were solid and ready to be used again. The kit includes everything needed to make the repairs look professional, including a color-matching paste that helps the fixed areas blend seamlessly into the rest of the countertop. It’s also versatile enough for use on other surfaces like porcelain sinks or tubs, which I plan to try on some of the minor chips in my bathroom. Overall, I’m really happy with how this repair kit worked. It saved me the hassle of hiring a professional, and the results were just as good as if I had done so. If you have any chips or cracks in your countertops, sinks, or tubs, this kit is a great solution that’s easy to use and delivers great results. It’s an affordable and effective way to keep your surfaces looking as good as new!

Probably not worth it
There was a very tiny amount in this package. Think of the paint by numbers plastic containers it was about half the size. I did use it, it was very difficult to match the colors, as you have just a tiny bit of product to work with. It was very gloopy and overall a challenge for me. It took about 24 to 48 hours to dry fully which was correct according to the directions. Useful if you have a very small area to address. Also please note that once you open it you must use it as there is no way to save it for later.

good adhesion
Filled the chip in nicely. Color was a little difficult to match. Overall I'm happy with the final result. My goal was to keep the chip from getting larger which won't happen now due to the nice fill/adhesion of this product.

Take your time and get color right.
Great product and wonderful results on granite. Our counter was chipped on edge from a glass falling from cupboard. I originally did not let the product cure for 24 hours prior to working on scraping it down and sanding and the repair popped off immediately. The second attempt I waited the required 24 hours and it is perfect. The product has a chemical reaction to cure so I used painters tape around the area that wasn’t damaged so the product was only on that damaged part of the counter. I added the product and used the tape to create the edge of the counter. I then had it covered in tape to maintain the shape for 24 hours. I then used the included sandpaper to take off excess product and then use a very small amount of oil to darken the freshly sanded area. I think used granite cleaner and sealer and went on our way. Product looks great and you have ample time for the application. Don’t use too much as it just means you have to sand more the next day. Great price and way cheaper than the $125 quote I had.

The color match is spot on, making the repairs blend seamlessly with the existing surface. It is safe, non-toxic, and perfect for fixing chips, cracks, and dents on various surfaces like tile, granite, marble, and porcelain. This product saved me from costly professional repairs and restored my countertops and tub to look like new. Highly recommend!

Not Good Results
Hard to get the right mix proportion of A and B. One is syrupy, the other hard and rocky. Took days to dry. Small quantity of cement, even smaller of the dyes. Toothpicks are useless. Need tips (not given) or experience to use this correctly.

I bought it to repair the grove I got in marble countertop after two slabs got disalined. The quality of the filler is good. It was easy to apply, I was forming it about 15 minutes. Onse it was hard I was able to snag it. You need to know how to mix colors and better see a video on how to mix colors. The product comes with colors that close to marble natural color and may work right away. In my case it, it was either too light or too dark. You have enough filler to cover the big gaps. The only thing the containers were 1/3 filled and you inspect it would be full when you open it. But yes, it's enough to do the job. At the end I very satisfied. Giving 5 stars. The key to be artistic, it's all on you. Happy gap filling. _----------++ Great product, just used it to repair broken wheel on my office chair. Tested works well. It's called the weight over the 1 week looks good. Will try to repair the broken lead handle on my sore pan.

I ordered this product because I had two holes in my kitchen porcelain plank tiles. I was skeptical that it would work because my tiles are multicolored but... it worked! Holes are gone and it looks great! The instructions were simple and the product was easy to use.

Trying to get a color matches next to impossible with the supplied colors. This might be ideal for very plain Jane repairs, but if you have any tile that's a neutral color earth tone tile color, don't waste your time.
