Polyhemp rope from Kanirope - twisted synthetic hemp rope manufactured from polypropylene spun fiber yarn. Poly hemp ropes are very grippy and very handy to hold, relatively cheap, weatherproof, very light and floatable but not very resistant to abrasion and temperature. Polyhemp ropes are difficult to distinguish optically and haptically from natural hemp ropes, but they have some advantages. Poly hemp ropes are neutral in smell, doesn't adsorb any liquid (f.e. sweat from hands), washable with a damp cloth and therefore easy to clean. Application: Handrail rope, stair rope, fencing ropes, red ropes, barrier ropes, swing rope, playgrounds, low height and big height forest climbing nets & structures, gardening, landscaping, modelling, design, decoration of shop windows, labelling, navigation, rigging, industry, construction, towing rope, mooring lines, horse cord, tug of war ropes, training ropes, gymnastic rope, climbing ropes, ambience and interiors in hotels, bars, houses ... - weather resistant, rot resistant - very suitable for use outdoors and indoors - does not absorb any water, floatable, light - no swelling and no shrinkage, because water absorption: 0% - loss of breaking load due to moisture: 0% (very good) - light resistance: good - washing temperature: 30°C (washable, not suitable for washing machines) - softening point: 140°C - melting point: 170°C - 50% concentrated acids: no reaction - gasoline, diesel and lubricating oil: no reaction - solvents: minimal reaction - alkalis (caustic solutions) resistant to weak alkaline solutions - electrical characteristics: excellent insulation - of hemp colour, not dyeable

What beautiful rope!
Everyone with a steeply-sloping garden should have a decent length of rope! I've been happily abseiling up and down while planting and trimming since I got this - it's amazing what confidence a good rope gives you.

Decking guard rail
The rope still looks as good as the day it was installed as our decking guard rail. It's difficult to cut but its a brilliant product.

Arrived a day earlier than forecast, was exactly as advertised and relatively simple to work with. Used to add a decorative edging for the garden decking.

Great rope exactly as described
Really nice looking rope, 5m exactly as described. So difficult to find in shops normally. Used around our decking and it finishes it off nicely.
