A very premium device at a good price !! One UI 8 updated !!
This is the third Samsung phone I bought in less than 1.5 years. I upgraded from a Galaxy M35 to this. The M35 was a great phone for me. But the A55 is levels above. I will keep it short and precise so that it is easier for anyone and everyone to understand. Design and Build : Premium feel. The metal frame feels awesome. The phone has some heft but it is good. It has IP67 dust and water resistance as well. Display : A very good Super Amoled panel with fairly good outdoor brightness at 1000 nits. The bezels are a bit thicker than the competition but I don't mind. Sound : The dual stereo speakers are rich but I felt they could have been louder. Performance : If you aren't a gamer, the Exynos 1480 is a charm. No lags, no stutters and no heating. I have faced no problems in a month of usage. I have also been to Delhi-Manali-Agra with this and it served me well without any issues. Memory and Storage : I have the 8 GB + 128 GB option and I haven't any issues. I mostly use cloud storages so space isn't a concern for me. If needed, there is a micro-sd card slot also. Battery and Charging : 5000 mah battery gives around 5-6 hrs of SOT on normal usage. Instagram reels take up the most battery but the endurance otherwise is great. It is definitely not a two day phone but it will serve you one full day with ease. Charging however takes 1.5 hrs using 25 watt Samsung fast charger. I have attached battery usage image as well. Mind it that I use two sim cards and both are 5G enabled. Also, my wifi and bluetooh in on in most cases. I don't like the hassle of toggling. So you might get even better battery life. Camera : I loved the camera setup. The main, ultrawide and selfie cameras are great. The phone clicks near-natural photos and colors, very slightly boosted. Photos attached for you to look at. OS : I have used Iphone 12 and 14 and the One UI gives me the best experience in comparison. It often feels that I am using a much more premium OS. Now with the One UI 8 update, I am in love with the phone. Also, Knox security is one of the mojer reasons I choose Samsung. I have covered almost all major important points. You all can decide if you want to buy it or not. I hope my review will provide enough idea for anyone who is wanting to buy this phone. Thank you. Peace.

Great phone still relevant in 2025
Awesome phone. Still relevant in 2025 For 25000 it's a good deal. Pros, • build quality (metal body and gorilla glass) • premium looks • very good superAMOLED display with 120hz • micro SD card support (hybrid) • eSim compatability • good sterio speaker • decent main camera • one UI 7 ( the reason I choose Samsung) the. best UI • AI features • lpddr4 ram and ufs 3.0 storage Cons, • only 5000 mah battery (still full day backup in moderate use, and if very less use it will easily backup for 2 days) • exynos 1480 processor (very good processor with 2.75 gh clock speed, but in this price range you get many other phones with performance processors) this still more than enough for average use • only IP67, no IP68 • no headphone jack • no charger in box • no seperate telephoto camera for portrait photography is kinda disappointing • display hinges kinda big (not noticeable in dark mode) If you looking for a premium build phone in budget price range and you are not a gaming person and you want a phone for long term usage definitely this one suits you.

Must Read - A balanced phone that doesn't lack in anything!
I've been using the phone from little over 2 weeks now. I am coming from A52s phone - I have used flagship phones too but I realized they are overkill for my usage so I stopped buying expensive phones. Here are my thoughts on A55: 1) Display - Less vibrant than previous A series phones as far as colors are concerned. This display produces more natural colors & I think this is good. No outdoor visibility issues. Bezels are a bit thicker but the quality of display compensates for that. Give it some time you will forget bezels. 2) Sound - Nothing to complain, they do their job quite well - both top and bottom speakers sound equal quality & volume wise. 3) Network & connectivity - Call quality very good, I was a bit concerned it might have problems with network strength as many people complain of Exynos based phones, fortunately this doesn't have any issues at least where I live and go - note that I use LTE only mode and not 5G. I would get better idea when I will encounter low network areas. Wifi is also solid, Samsung gave dual band antennas unlike A52s which had single band - due to which speed was limited to 50mbps on wifi - glad the A55 gives full wifi speeds! Bluetooth works well as expected. When I connect my amplifier through bluetooth the phone automatically choose Aptx codec. LDAC codec is also supported if you have LDAC device. A52s was limited to AAC. 4) Build and in-hand feel - We are getting such premium quality hardware in lower priced phones is big thumbs up. The phone is little heavy but you will get used to it. The back glass is slippery to hold in hand - you will definitely need case or at least a skin for better grip. 5) Software - Transfering data from A52s to A55 was breeze with Samsung smart switch app, I transferred 50gb+ data around 15 mins via usb c to c offline - it retained all settings too! For Whatsapp - I had to manually transfer (You can copy whatsapp folder from old phone to new phone and when you go to activate whatsapp it will ask you to restore that data. Only lost 1 day of data, otherwise everything transferred successfully). About One UI - Probably best software experience with tons of features and customization options! Got Android 15 based One UI 7 just on 21st May a few days back. Samsung is late with Android update this year because Google released Android 16 developer builds quite early last year so Samsung had to work simultaneously on both 15 & 16. They have proven track record of timely updates and I think they will get it right soon. Only major android update came late but security patches have been timely. 4 OS and upto 5 years of security updates makes this phone future proof, you will be good till 2029! 6) Battery - It's too good! Check screenshot I get 10+ hours sot. It's easy 2+ days backup for me on normal apps usage. As I just updated to One UI 7 it's in learning mode, I am expecting improvement. I will update the review. For charging I use my old 15w Samsung charger which charges 15-100% in 1:30 hrs. 25w charger should do full charge in 1 hour. 7) Performance - Exynos 1480 is no slouch, it performs admirably without any major hiccups. I had some occassional slutters in One ui 6.1 but after one UI 7 it has improved - the overall experience is smoother, more responsive. This is not performance oriented phone so if you multitask a lot, play heavy games then look for other phones. For normal user this is more than enough. No heating at all - it hardly gets warm! 8) Camera - I haven't used camera enough to share any judgement but initial impressions are quite positive. Check Youtube videos for better idea - I did and I liked what all of the cameras offer. Nothing to complain. 9) Price & value - It was launched at ₹40K last year in March 24, I bought for ₹23700 in recent summer sale. It's always best to avoid buying at launch and wait for price drop next year. Overall A55 is a balanced phone that doesn't lack in any aspect & it's possibly the best VFM phone from Samsung right now! -- Suggestions to get best performance & battery backup: 1) Use LTE only network mode instead of 5g or automatic. 2) Disable wifi, bluetooth, location scanning features and use them only when needed. 3) Remove unnecessary apps and disable features you don't use. 4) Settings - Google - All Service - disable data sharing features like usage & diagnostics etc. 5) Disable Google contact sync. Manually synch it when needed so it won't drain battery in background. This should be enough to improve battery for most users. For advance users - you can get 20-30% more improvement in battery and noticeable performance increment by debloating. Check xdaforums for safe to remove and safe to disable One UI apps & services list.

Awesome mobile A55, from the house of Samsung
An equivalent alternative to iphone 13.. A great product from Samsung..sofar no complaints about the set's functionality.. camera reception is of next level.. responds like butter on cake.. very smooth and quick..reasonably priced..I haven't used the mobile for gaming yet.. as such no comments..for my use, the battery easily lasts for 2 days, once charged fully..voice quality is damn clear n excellent..a special gadget to be bought for the use of ear phones.. certainly a disadvantage.. Lag free performance is the hallmark of Galaxy A55 5G, sporting almost all modern features.. A55 is a good buy, for those who're in mkt searching for a pocket friendly Android, meeting all latest requirements.. very much, in place of highly expensive iphones..

Don't let the Exynos name fool you !
Got this phone galaxy a55 5g ( black) at 27,000 INR . Package arrived before the estimated delivery time , that's plus point to seller . Do not have any problem with the product , it has everything just right . Phone is working , fresh condition and more importantly does not have to replace it due any problem. About the phone now : 1.Display: it has samsung's new amoled panel which is less vivid then privious generation, so initially it felt like LCD display but finger print sensor in the display confirms it is amoled , just that it is more realistic then before. ( I have compared the display output of A53 and a55 side by side and observed this ) (10/10) 2.Processor: don't let the Exynos name fool you , this time samsung did cooked something with Exynos 1480. When compared to 1280 ( which was unusable , handwarmer , throttle on very basic tast like opening camera or saving 2 mb pdf file etc) 1480 is very competent processor having made with the AMD rdna graphics ( Xeclipse 530ish ) and in real life usage it produce less heat and does not throttle and gives stable 5g connectivity. (9/10) 3.Camera : this is the area where it seems like it is not so good , but when compared to other cameras at this price ut performs well especially in low light conditions . (7/10) 4. Build quality: this has glass back and metal frame of alluminium and IP67 rating for water and dust resistance. Now in real world when you'll hold this phone it will be heavy ( primium heavy ) and if used without cover gives uncanny resemblance to s25 Fe so (10/10) 5.battery : it does not have big numbers like 100w charging and 7300mAh battery but gives the good SOT with 5000mAh battery and 25w ( slow ) charging . And yes samsung being stinky doesn't gives the changer in the box . So (6/10) 6. Os support : got the one UI 6 based on Android 14 out of box , had to install both one UI 7 and then 8 .after that it worked fine like no lag, minimal bloats and advertisement in the phone . (8/10) 7. Is this good phone in 2026 : yes , if you don't use your phone for gaming. Multitask like average person , this phone won't gonna disappoint you . Having very solid bulid quality, decent cameras , good performance, good software experience .
