MICROBAN 1.5 oz. Fungicidal Paint Additive – Resists Mold & Mildew

I had a ceiling in my shower stall covered with mold spots. It's the perfect environment for mold; low(7') ceiling, no exhaust fan, and a roommate who takes very long showers. I'm at two months since I painted, and no mold to be found.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: This was so easy to use and very effective. Added to gallons of stain as we stained new siding. Did not add smell or impact color.

We are taking some time to prep the walls and using up some old paint to freshen a bathroom. With a paper filter and this hopefully it'll work out well. This is only enough for a gallon so do get more just in case. The bathroom in question holds a little too much moisture at times so hopefully this will help till we can afford taking it to the studs for more extensive changes (and a upgraded fan, we upgraded the vent a few years ago when remodeling the bath above). I've had an item change on me in the far past. At purchase this was called "Microban 1.5 oz. Fungicidal Paint Additive – Resists Mold & Mildew" This is a new product, so it's description may adjust to suit the product over time.

I had black mold showing up on our deck boards. I did a lite sanding, added this to our stain and mold has not returned ! Highly recommended!

Need the mold inhibiting formula to add to my condo paint in our highly humid area plus in bathrooms for walls ceiling and trim applications. Highly recommend
