I never realised how much I needed this tiny adaptor until it turned up. About the size of a matchbox, it clicks into the iPhone 17’s USB-C socket and quietly takes on two tasks: passing razor-sharp video to the VITURE XR glasses, and keeping the phone topped up at the same time. Head tracking, spatial 3D, multiscreen, all the clever elements appear the instant the blue LED glows, and I have yet to notice so much as a whisper of lag. The build feels properly robust. The connector sits firm and will not budge, even when my five-year-old gives the cable an enthusiastic tug. Heat is kept well under control, and every 30 W charger I own has worked happily through the passthrough port. A quick nod as well to the leaflet in the box: it is clear, well laid out, and printed large enough for me to read without hunting for my glasses. Reliable performance, tidy design and the freedom to wander round the sitting room without a low-battery warning make this an effortless five-star product.

Brilliant adapter/cable for my Viture glasses. I've been really enjoying the set up in general and this just adds a new element and helps with watching content straight from the phone. The adapter is well made and a nice size so that you still have flexibility in moving your phone around. Good speedy connection too.

Very expensive for what it is but essential for miltiscreen.

It's nice to finally add this to my glasses and I very much like it. A good adapter for the phone that opens up new storage and possibilities for your glasses. Think I'm going to get the neckband too but for now thks calle connection is amazing and speedy. Very happy.

Clipping the tiny VITURE USB-C XR charging adaptor into my iPhone 17 felt like handing the glasses a double espresso. The moment the connector clicked home, multi-screen mode lit up, and the previously hidden three-degree-of-freedom head tracking together with the spatial 3D video options were suddenly on show. Somehow the device is hardly any larger than the plug itself, yet it pushes plenty of video bandwidth and clean audio while dribbling in enough current to keep the phone battery cheerful during a two-hour Marvel binge. The build quality surprised me in the best way. The plug sits firmly with no wobble, and the short braided lead has already survived a week rattling around in a pocket full of keys without fraying. Setting it up was almost laughably simple, I was watching trailers in under half a minute, and the quick-start card is clearer than my nan’s cut-glass sherry decanter. Not a single video dropout so far, and the adaptor never grows warmer than room temperature. It is a cracking little gadget that turns the glasses into a travelling cinema, keeps everything topped up, and does it all quietly in the background. For the extra immersion and the peace of mind, I reckon it is worth every penny.

Works but the connection is so flimsy that it will disconnect repeatedly. Need to bring out a revised version that is more reliable.

Works as designed and is a good addition for the glasses, but to confirm you do not need this if you are planning to use Viture glasses solely on PC. You only need it for multi screens on iPhone or iPad. Cant comment on other devices. So I would not buy until you decide you need it. Also one little issue, if you are charging a iOS device as you are using glasses and the iOS device reaches 100% charge then the unit does a switch over from charge to battery and resets and then the iPad battery drops so charging takes over and it resets again and keeps repeating until you pull the charge lead and run solely on battery from iPad. A little concerning the 1st time this happened.

I can’t fault the build quality as it is genuinely very good. The offering of 3DoF and the ability to charge your device whilst using it with the glasses makes a lot of sense. Unfortunately what neither the Viture product pages, Amazon listing or the SpaceWalker app (until recently) make any mention of this adapter not working fully with the Viture Luma Ultra and an iPhone 17. In essence, you simply end up with a charger which supports pass through. This lack of support is down to a comparability issue with the Luma Ultra glasses and the iPhone which Viture say a new adapter they are working on will fix.
