Not what I was expecting for the price,My $10.00 mug keeps my coffee hotter longer

The lid sucks - Because of the fact you must pop the lid every time you want to drink - but wait - you have to again press the lid tab back and lock it in place - otherwise your nose will bump into the wet tab. I purchased this Stanley Aerolight Transit Travel Mug 0.47L to replace my old Stanley trigger lid - Needless to say I went back to the old mug - 16 OZ Keeps coffee hot for hours however they no longer make this model which had a flat top, squeeze flat trigger to sip / drink. I sent Stanley 1913 customer service a note to please return to the drawing board and rethink this poorly designed lid. The lid functions just fine and does not leak however no thought to ease of use was considered during this lid design.

The lid dribbles. Trying to drink causes the liquid to dribble around your mouth. Sounds weird I know but it's not shaped right. Pick something different!

Really good mug, have been using it for a long while now and it really keeps drinks warm for a very long time.

When I think of thermal flasks, travel mugs and food jars I think of Stanley. It is my first port of call and my brand of choice. There are very few brands that can boast more than 100 years of rich history. To last that long in an industry you really do need to be exceptional at what you do, anything less and you would not survive, more importantly you would not thrive in growing competitive market. This was one of the main reasons that attracted to the brand. My first purchase was the Stanley Classic Legendary Food Jar with Spork (holds 0.47 litre of food, stands 14 cm tall and weighs 340 grams) bought in July 2024 for £38.00 - I have enjoyed using the food jar countless times during the past 12 months, I have never been disappointed. My second the third purchase was the Stanley Adventure Thermal Flask and the Stanley Aerolight Travel Mug, both were purchased together. Having received the order, I unpacked it. I'm pleased to write that they arrived in perfect condition, there were no scratch marks, no dents and no chips. Both were enveloped in good quality wrapping paper secured with a branded label. Inside both were customer information leaflets on how to care for and use safely. Both the containers are extremely well made and have weight to them, especially the Adventure Thermal Flask (holds 1 litre of liquid, stands 30cm tall and weighs 684 grams), the sheer size is impressive. The Aerolight Travel Mug (holds 0.47 litres of liquid, stands 20cm tall and weighs 251 grams) is no less impressive, both are made with premium quality materials and with excellent craftsmanship. Both containers are wide mouthed (ideal for cleaning the inside and inserting ice cubes), the Black Metallic design is simple and elegant in appearance, they have a great deal of presence, each sits well in my hands, the lid (which doubles as a cup) and the stopper screw down firmly and securely, hot liquids remain hot and cold liquids remain cold for many hours. There is something reassuringly pleasing when holding them and when opening and closing them. The feeling of permanence, quality that will last a life time. All you need is to take care of them and they will serve you well for many years to come. Customer feedback proved invaluable, important to read customers experience with the products. I'm pleased to write there were no bad reviews and I did not expect to read one. All the customer feedback were positive. Advice Guide To Buyers Always clean your flasks and mugs by hand, never in a dishwasher, even if the instructions tell you it is dishwasher safe, always read the customer feedback (you do not want to purchase a problem which you could have avoided by reading the customer feedback), do not rush into making a decision, always take your time and do you homework.
