Great value! They are so much easier to hammer into the ground with a mallet, then the heavier 12 inch steaks that I usually use. I use them to repair the wire fence surrounding my yard to prevent my toy dogs from escaping. We had some severe windstorms A little while back. My dogs found the vulnerable areas right away, and just dug underneath and escaped. I i'm so utterly grateful that I got them all back. They are light weight but very sturdy. Instead of Just bring round, they are made with angles which makes them very easy to pound into the ground. I also use them to hold down tarps, When screens on the fences, and to stabilize metal dog pens. Ought to be great for tents.

I like the size of these stakes and they hold up well, they will bend but not like others do, it takes some effort. Good for the scouts to use/abuse as they are tough on gear.

I like the hexagonal rods, believe that will avoid bending. And I like the well tapered point. I was expecting a lighter, narrower gauge, but robust is better... my need is for car camping. Addendum: I tried these stakes and liked them. Their sturdiness and ability to hold in wet soil more than compensates for the slight weight penalty over my other stakes. They clean up easily, pack small, fit readily through grommet holes to ground, and pin in without bending by foot pressure (I don’t like the noise of hammering, and a metal peen can damage aluminium. Large hook at top is helpful in retrieval: twist to break the grip and pull stake with an inserted finger. The sharp points concern me in packing, so I take care to shield them from fabric.

All stakes were in good condition on arrival, no scratches and no weird finish or grease on them. As far as performance, for the weight of each stake, there's a lot to be desired. Whatever alloy is used is very soft, and has bent, scratched, and deformed without much effort at all during normal backcountry use. None have broken entirely and they have all bent back into place rather easily, but given how heavy each is I'd rather take something such a y-shaped MSR groundhog stake (or an Amazon clone, the 3F UL stakes are particularly nice) The hook shape is good and I had no issues with guylines slipping off, as well as no issues with holding in softer ground. They're fairly long stakes and pretty forgiving for beginners, but might disappoint more experienced backpackers.

Way sturdier than the ones that came with my tend. They work great! Been using these a couple years now many camping trips.

I was in need of replacing some metal yard stakes for my Halloween blow up decorations. These did the trick. They were perfect for the decorations. They were surprisingly lighter in weight than I expected, but very durable. I would recommend and would buy again.

These are great! Good quality, and a fantastic value with the included storage pouch. I used these to hold down my Halloween decorations and they were absolutely perfect.

Used these to replace the original stakes that came with my EZ up tent and they are much sturdier and easier to push into the ground with your foot. I like them so much I’m writing this review from the field where I’m using them, ha ha. Best six buck upgrade ever.
