This kombucha tea is really refreshing! The Japanese apricot flavor is light, slightly sweet, and not overpowering. It mixes easily with water and tastes great both cold and at room temperature. I like that it feels hydrating and easy to drink throughout the day. Perfect if you want something flavorful without being too strong or heavy. I’ll definitely be repurchasing!

taste good, but if your stomach is sensitive, do not try it. I feel discomfort everytime I drink it, especially in empty stomach. Sad

So I saw a couple reviews kind of flipping out about “digestion- resistant maltodextrin”, and I get it; we typically equate “digestion” as a good thing and to see an ingredient that appears to “resist” a generally good function is off putting. I’m here to note there is a difference between maltodextrin and digestion resistant maltodextrin and how the body “deals” with them. As a diabetic, maltodextrin is a no-no due to its high glycemic index. On the other hand, after digestion resistance maltodextrin leaves the stomach it “resists” the typical breaking down and absorption of the small intestine, and goes to the large intestine where it ferments producing the desired bacteria in the gut being sought by using the product in the first place. Resistant maltodextrin is also sometimes referred to as a “prebiotic fiber”. In summary: In order for the packet of kombucha powder to “kombuch” (Lol), the resistant maltodextrin has to *resist* being digested by the small intestine so it can ferment in the large intestine to provided the good bacteria and gut benefits you are seeking by using this product. I like this flavor. It is sweet and a like bubbly.

I usually have a hard time drinking kombucha because of the taste. This product is different. The plum flavor is slightly tart and absolutely delicious! I added it to my subscribe and save.
