Solid Value
I own five of this exact case. I use them for photography equipment, carrying various camera bodes, lenses and other accessories. I have tried and own a lot (a whole lot) of camera cases, and I have to say that the overall value for the money of the Pelican brand products, you cannot go wrong. The overall quality of these cases is great. You can tell that it's a solid case from the start. When empty, it is much lighter than others in it's class, but the durability does not suffer because if this, it's still solid. I use mine for archery events and travel (globally) with them - a lot. They have been tossed around, dropped, and even run over by a side-by-side ATV - and it has survived and kept my equipment safe and spotless. I cannot really say enough good things about the Vault line from Pelican. I even have two of their longer cases to transport bows in - again - they have all been used HARD and ABUSED as well, and outside of normal scratches and dings, they are still going strong! I've had some for as long as I can remember now, and not a single one has any issue that would render it unusable. The latches have all held up well. The wheels still spin freely and smoothly. The inside of the case is nice and soft, and you can customize it for just about any use case. I can fit a lot of equipment in these things. Overall, I highly recommend these cases - you cannot go wrong at this price point. I believe you get just as much protection and quality from this case as you would with ones that are double the cost - and I can say that with confidence, as I own and have used those other cases.

Amazing case
This case is an amazing addition to my kit. The quality is great and the provided padding is excellent for configuring the inside to your own design. I am able to set it up depending on what equipment I need to use on a shoot. I have had it carry my DJI 4K mini along with my canon camera an multiple lenses ample room left for triggers filters chargers and much more. Fairly lightweight and great that it has a handle and wheels for ease of transport. Seems to be also TSA compatible. Highly recommended

PELICAN FOREVER!!!
I became hooked on Pelican products since my military days because we used them so extensively. Those cases morphed into becoming just easy packing containers for personal use as well. This new style of VAULT case is fantastic! I can take a 10 day trip and pack everything I need with it. This is a carry on item, and I can survive with this alone instead of needing to pack a huge bag or check it, it fits on the plane as a carry on with me. The closures are very secure and it even has spaces where you can add your own locks. Overall functionality is superior and you can just pull up the handle and tow it after you however fast you need to walk. I am extremely happy and satisfied with this product from Pelican!

Used as a carry on luggage for clothes
The Pelican Case Vault V525 is an amazing carry-on case. It easily fit about four days’ worth of clothes plus two pairs of shoes with room to spare. The build quality is outstanding. Super durable and rugged, yet still sleek enough to travel with. The wheels roll smoothly, the latches feel secure, and it meets carry-on size requirements perfectly. For anyone who wants peace of mind knowing their belongings are well-protected while traveling, this case is a fantastic investment.

Strong and easy to transport.
Very sturdy and the inside containers were partly useful in my situation. My purpose is to store and have easily available a Ruger PC Charger pistol and extra equipment. I ordered Magpul Daka flats and other Daka shaped inserts to make it very tight and secure. Love it.

Amazing , Solid Carry on case
Great case I absolutely love it. I’ve been wanting a sturdier carryon for a long time and this is it. Interior has less space than a traditional carryon, but this thing is solid and will protect anything you put in it!

Well made

Decent Product - Worth Getting When on Sale
I've been using Pelican cases for over 30 years, and have dozens of them - mainly the original super heavy duty ones and a few Storm models. Decided to try the Vault line. This V525 model is usually about $150, but was on sale for $112 on Amazon. Not watertight like the originals but is touted as storm proof. Don't need complete waterproof for every application. This case is sturdier than I anticipated. Well built (in Mexico). Comes with quality foam. The only problem I had was from this being too well put together. I wanted to remove the lid foam to install an aftermarket lid organizer. The lid foam had been glued in with some very strong adhesive. I tore the foam getting it out (despite heating the outside of the case first, which did soften the glue inside) and had to soak the lid inner surface in Goo-Gone for a couple of days to soften up the large amount of glue residue. This is a good feature for those owners who will never remove the lid foam, but for people like me who want more flexibility it is a pain. Velcro would have been a better solution. I have the 1510, Pelican Air 1535, and now this Vault v525 - these are all airline carry-on size. All are strong and secure with handles and wheels. The 1510 and 1535 are waterproof, the v525 storm proof. 1535 is most expensive, most elegant, and the lightest. Original 1510 is the heaviest and strongest - and the second most expensive. v525 is the cheapest and weighs in somewhere between the other two. Bottom line - the v525 is worth buying at the sale price of $112. At the regular price of $150 I would add a few $ and get the 1510. If light weight and good looks are your priorities then go for the Air 1535 (but you will spend more). If Pelican are reading this - forget gluing the foam into the v525 lid - a little Velcro would be much better.
