Excellent option for home laser hair removal, sun spots and KP
I am a woman and purchased this to use to make my bikini line and armpits look smoother between shaving. I don’t mind shaving every day, but the little dark spots left behind from the hair roots on my medium light skin were bothersome. I’ve been using this approximately three times per week on SHR mode for the past two months and have absolutely notice a significant difference. The hair roots are less visible and the skin in those areas looks and feels much smoother. I had used it on my face at a lower setting to treat a couple of stray hairs on my jawline, and actually have noticed a reduction in dark spots on my face. That wasn’t why I bought it but it was a very pleasant surprise. I have not used laser hair removal devices before, but this one is quite comfortable and the cooling technology is excellent, as others have said. It has a good design, is easy to use and seems to be excellent quality. I will continue to use this device for maintenance, would absolutely purchase it again and recommend it to others. Update—I’ve used this about 2 times weekly for the past 2 months (after using every other day for the first 2 weeks) and it is working great for bikini line and armpits. Also continues to work great for age/sun spots on my face, despite my dermatologist telling me it probably wouldn’t. For the past 2 weeks I have used this on my daughter’s mild KP which is on the backs of her upper arms and thighs, and it has worked great even after just 4 treatments. I use SHR and glide mode 100% of the time for both of us and while the device gets hot after a while, I have had no functional issues.

Excellent Product. Excellent Customer Support.
I'm writing this review one year after buying my Ulike Air 10 device. Firstly, I'll say the product does what it says it will. I was hoping for at least a reduction in hair thickness and possibly slower growth. I thought that complete hair removal was probably not realistic for consumer grade device I'm happy to say that the areas I treated over the past year with this laser are nearly hairless now! At this point the hair in the treated areas grows so slowly and is so fine, if it grows at all, that even if I never treated those hairs with the laser again, I'd be happy. I was so pleased with the results of this device on the areas of my body that I initially bought it to treat, that I expanded to treat other areas (i.e. arm pits), because why not? The device is painless for the most part. If you're zapping an area that is extra sensitive (i.e. bikini area), the pain, at most is like a rubber-band snap. Or you can always dial back the intensity of the laser until you get a level that is painless. I usually went full intensity, except for the occasional areas that I needed to dial it from "super high" down to "high". The cooling feature on this device also works very well and makes zapping the hair very comfortable on the skin. I had laser hair removal at a salon for $150 per treatment years ago. I wish this device had existed then. It would have saved me hundreds of dollars. My Ulike Air 10 worked fantastically for most of the year I had it, but then started to have an issue where it would work for about 3-5 min like normal and then the laser would stop flashing. Ulike offers a 2 year warranty, and since I was within the warranty period, I reached out to customer service about my issue. They were AMAZING! They responded to my email within 24 hours. I explained my issue. They asked for a short video demonstrating the problem. When I submitted the video, THAT DAY they shipped a new device to me and emailed me a return label to send back the unit that was dying. Literally, the new device arrived the same day I sent back the old one, and this was 48 hours after I submitted my video of the problematic unit. I don't think I have every had any company respond so swiftly and resolve my issue so completely. The Ulike has been an invaluable tool in my beauty arsenal. Even though I had a unit that started to have problems after a year, it worked fantastically before it started to have a problem and the company resolved my issue completely with their generous warranty and excellent customer service. I looked at several models of at home hair removal devices before I decided to buy the Ulike. I'm so happy I chose this one. It was money well spend on a product that works well, made by a company with outstanding customer service. I'm very happy with this purchase.

Real ice sensation without pain
To wear pretty dresses this summer, I bought the Ulike Air 10, and the results are truly amazing! I used to go to beauty salons for hair removal, which was expensive and painful, but now I can easily do it at home. The biggest selling point of this hair removal device is its "cooling" sensation. The light source cools down within seconds of turning it on, feeling refreshingly cool on the skin with absolutely no stinging sensation. It even easily handles the sensitive inner thighs. After using it for about two weeks, I can clearly feel that hair regrowth has slowed down significantly, and the new hair is much finer and softer. The device is compact and lightweight, making it easy to operate with one hand without any fatigue. The USHR mode emits light very quickly, removing hair from my entire body in just 10 minutes, perfect for lazy people like me. Now I'm finally free from the embarrassment of unwanted hair, and my skin feels so smooth. I really regret not buying it sooner!

100% recommend! No pain. No gimmick. Just hair reduction. Thank everyone who created this!
I have been using this item for about a month. I am amazed! My legs have never felt so good in my life. I have light skin and dark black hairs/follicules. This device was made for this type of combination. There is no pain. Shocking! I thought that was a fake influencer gimmick, but truly there is no pain and it works! My leg hairs have been growing minimally and I rarely have to use the device after only one month. I do shave every few days because I am obsessed with the smoothness I’ve never had before. I am 35. This is absolutely worth the purchase!

Helpful for hair removal and for lightening KP redness!
I rarely ever write reviews but I have been using the air 10 for about a year now so I think it's a good time for it since I have been using it for a bit and had the time to test it. I initially got it to try and reduce the redness on my arms that was due to Keratosis pilaris as I had tried everything that I could think of to try and get rid of it I had tried every exfoliant and every moisturizer possible but nothing worked to get rid of the redness. So from my research it said that IPL was a great way to reduce KP so I thought why not. The ulike definitely has some cons but I think the pros definitely out weigh the cons for sure Pros: it's super easy to use and has 3 different modes, the SHR modes give the strongest zap and therefore the best results. It also has a high setting and a fast setting if you are in a pinch for time. You don't have to press the button every time on the fast setting you just have to hold it for 2 seconds and put it against your skin and go.I use the SHR first and then go over again using the fast setting just to make sure I get everything. The ice cooling makes it to where I don't feel anything even when using the SHR mode so it's really comfortable to use. It definitely works and I have seen results, my hair dosnt come in nearly as thick or as dark on my legs and it has definitely lightened my kp redness on my arms and it's nearly gone on my legs (I have been using it on my legs for a longer amount of time so I think after a few more months my arms will be a lot lighter) Cons: you have to use it religiously in order for it to work well. It's recommended to use it every 2 to 3 days especially for the first month and then you can scale it back to every week. You have to shave every single time you use the device in order for it to penetrate the hair follicle so if you are like me and you hate shaving it will definitely be hard to get in a routine to do it. I recently bought a chargeable electric razor on here and it has definitely been helpful to keep on the routine because I don't have to shave in the shower and I don't get nicks everytime I shave anymore so think about getting one of those if you are like me. Another con that is kind of annoying is that the device can overheat when used too long and it will shut off on its own and you have to wait a few minutes to cool down in order to use it again. It's not a deal breaker for me but definitely annoying since you have to pause in between use. Another con which some people might have a problem with is that it is pretty expensive so some people might not have to money to spend 400 dollars on a hair removal product. I will say that I got a discount code from one of the influencers I watch on YouTube so I got about 200 dollars off with that code so just look on social media and you might find something similar! All in all I think this is a good device if you have the expenses to buy this product and if you are looking to remove hair or if you are like me and trying to reduce redness from KP you just have to keep up the routine in order to get the best results.

Absolutely Fantastic. Best At-Home Hair Removal Device I've Ever Used.
I am beyond impressed with the Air 10. After years of spending thousands of dollars on various ways of trying to get rid of body hair, I finally decided to try an at-home option, and I’m so happy I did. This is, hands-down, the best, IPL device on the market. From the first use, I could tell the Air 10 was on a completely different level. The ice-cooling tip kept my skin cool and not burning like the nood one. Even on in the downstairs area, it didn't hurt at all (it was a little cold, but thats ok if its a choice between a little cold and burning my dick off.) I didn't have to worry about cooking my skin like a hotdog. I also liked the skin sensor thing because I definitley didn't want to research or trial and error with my skin tone and all that, and I'm happy I can just have it go and not even think about intensity or anything, super easy. I’ve been using it for like 6ish weeks now, and the results are phenomenal. My legs, armpits, pubes, and even my upper lip are basically hairless now. Sometimes I get a coouple thin hairs but it's definitley less and less. I barely need to shave anymore, like once every two weeks or something like that. Plus, the SHR mode is great for armpits, and i've seen the fastest and most noticable results there where I've been using it. The Air 10 is so easy to use, a moderately smart monkey could figure it out. It's beautifully designed, and 100% worth the money. If you're looking for permanent hair reduction at home, look no further, because this is it. If you are tired of razors, waxing, and ingrown hairs, or any of that other BS, this is the way to solve that problem, permenantly. If I could give it 10 stars, I would. This is the best home laser hair removal device I’ve tried, and I’ve tried the nood, braun and phillips ones (my wife wanted to try a couple, all have been returned.) Don’t waste your money on the others, especially the cheap ones. The Air 10 actually works, and delivers the best hair removal results I have ever seen at home. Also, the little folding sunglasses are actually pretty nice, I like that I can put them in my pocket when I'm not wearing them. I use them as regular sunglasses sometimes for this reason. Picture is my wife's leg. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a painless, super effective, and long-term hair removal solution.

HOLY SMOKES. Insanely surprised and insanely grateful
okay wow. I went through a male puberty and I have dark, thick hair on my arms and legs as a result. I used to have to shave every 2 days if I didn't want to look like a werewolf. when I got my ipl, I patch tested on the highest setting (the shr setting) and waited 2 days. after seeing no adverse reaction of the skin, I moved forward with the highest auto setting for my legs, first (I don't necessarily advice just going with the highest setting first, but I had pretty tough skin from male puberty as well, and nothing bad came from the patch test, so I went for it). I wanted to make sure that I was being objective and so I also used it on one perpendicular strip of my left arm. after only FIVE treatments of the highest auto setting (and plenty of shedding hair from my skin haha), my legs were nearly completely bare of course dark hair, and even the hair that still grew seemed to take WEEKS to get as long as it would have gotten in just a few days before (this part i cannot be 100% sure on but thats how it felt). you can see in the pictures how big of a difference it made on that left arm strip. I drew lines down the middle so you could see the two untreated sides sandwiche the bare treated strip in the middle. I let the hair grow for a while so you can see the difference better. something else that you can see in the pictures is the strip on my arm seems more even in skin tone and less... blotchy maybe? (don't mind the super weird looking scars, I've had those since elementary school haha). interesting affect on the skin,, but I like it a lot. I've heard ipl can reverse some damage so thats likely what we are seeing in the pictures. aaand then I started taking oral minoxidil after lapsing on my ipl. boom, all of the sudden a lot of the hair came back. im going to stop the minoxidil and start my ipl again and will update with results. been meaning to make a review for a while and finally got around to it. btw its suuuper satisfying when you start to see the hairs just start falling out and sluffing off lol. thank you Ulike, it is honestly such a relief not having to manage my body hair as much anymore <3 some advice and things of note: no, it does not hurt. I was so nervous the first time, I had it running for like a minute straight before finally putting it on my skin. and I shrieked when I did lol. but turns out it was just ice cold and thats what surprised me you may feel a small snap if you zap a hair that is longer and got missed in your shaving make sure you do not ipl after applying lotions creams etc. I always did it right after drying from the shower. then, make sure to moisturize AFTER expect it to take time. my full legs, bikini line, underarms, happy trail, and that one strip on the arm took me about 2 hours when I was starting, now a little more than an hour and a half wear the glasses. I also close my eyes on every zap as well as wearing the glasses. you only get one pair of eyeballs so take care of them! I found the best experience when doing a sugar scrub exfoliation, then shaving, then ipl, then lotion if it gets hot to hold, set it down and let the fan run for a couple minutes. it's worth the longevity of the product to sacrifice 10 mins overall per session to let her cool down a touch overall thoughts and impressions: super easy to use LOVE the auto zap!! ergonomic design can be lacking at certain angles but its not gonna gimme carpal tunnel to use so whatever if the air vent is pointed toward you, you will still see a ton of the flash, hence why I also close my eyes in addition to the glasses the device feels high quality and has a good heft. the sapphire air tech or whatever truly means no/very little pain if you do it right I wish that the window was designed maybe a little bit bigger so whole body sessions would be quicker, but I suppose the current design allows for more versatility so I'm ok with it it costs money. and to be honest I don't remember exactly how much without checking. but I DO constantly remember how worth it it was for me to not have to constantly stress about hair where I don't want it overall 5 stars easily. well worth the money

Good but Not Perfect
Updated: I am a woman and used this on areas with light skin and dark coarse hair. It lost 1/2 star for how well it removed hair and 1/2 star bc it sarted overheating easily. Pics are before/after using the device 23 out of 28 days, making 2 passes per treatment, on SHR mode. No bikini like pics lol. I did use an at home device 5 years ago, so my starting hair was reduced. Third pic is skin tone w/ tan line to show skin color and explain using the device on a slightly darker skin tone. Pros: -95% painless on my lighter skin tone, even in SHR mode -Very quick (could do both armpits in 5 minutes) -Glide mode is amazing -Cooling tech is a GAME CHANGER -Could do multiple passes per treatment and multiple treatments per day (morning/night) Cons: -The stubborn hair left after my previous device was largely unaffected -The device is pretty bulky if you're trying to do the Brazilian area -Zapping stubble when you didn't get a quite close enough shave HURTS (Brazilian issue) -I have some freckle/moles (like in the pic) and they hurt when zapped, some even developed a dark/black spot on them, which went away in about a week -Even with all the new tech, I don't believe the efficacy has improved much from devices 10 years ago Additional Considerations: - It goes without saying but you have to actually use the device for it to work. -This worked best on armpit hair (outside of the 1"x2" center), the mound of hair above the Brazilian area, and very well on stray breast hairs. -It struggles on center of armpit where the skin creases when your arms are down (deeper rooted hair maybe?) and deeper Brazilian hair. -You HAVE TO shave every time before you use it. So if you shave everyday and hate it, nbd, but if you rarely shave because you hate shaving it's a lot to adjust to. - I used this in March, and had a slight tan from a vacation in early Feb, my legs and arms were more sensitive to the treatment with their slightly darker skin tone (see pic), IMO this is a winter activity if you want to do full body. - Get some good razers, and be prepared to go through them. - Brazilian area was more sensitive during my period - Shaving Brazilian area 2-3x a week was an adjustment for me and resulted in some ingrowns and razer burn which HURT when I zapped them. - Shaving Brazilian area well enough to not have any stubble took time, physical flexibility, and shaving by feel. Worst part IMO I previously used a device I bought in about 2016 which is why I started with less armpit hair. The Ulike 10 is MUCH more comfortable to use, the cooling tech makes it virtually painless. However, I'm not sure it was that much more powerful than the older tech. As you can see I do have less hair in the after picture, but only about a 30% reduction (I counted hairs in the pics and went from about 92 to 66) and I used this almost everyday for 28 days. I stopped using my old device because I wasn't seeing as much hair loss after the first 6 months, and it was fairly painful. This device doesn't hurt at all if you shave correctly, so I plan on just continuing for a few months everyday to see if I could just knock them out with repeated use. Previously I would have hairs fall out after use (5 days later or so), this was always an indicator that it was working. Since you can use this device everyday that isn't as notice able bc you're shaving so frequently, the hairs are so little if/when they fall out. Overheating of my Ulike 10: I was working on my legs when the device over heated and stopped working, I had been using it on high mode for about 10 minutes. I let it cool and when I tried again an hour later it wouldn't flash anymore. I started a return but the next day it was working again, so I kept it and will see if I end up returning through ULike CS in the next couple months. It still overheats faster than it should but I'm mostly doing armpits and Brazilian so it's not usually getting used for more than 10 min straight.
