Exactly what you need to attach your OBD scanner (mine is Fixd brand) to your RE Himalayan. I believe this adapter works for most of the RE bikes, but do check. To be fair, the Himalayan won't let me do a lot via the RBD port, but it's nice to be able to monitor some of the info coming through the computer. I leave it attached permanently. It fits fine under the seat and doesn't seem to draw power when the bike is off.

Bought this for a 2023 Royal Enfield Himalayan Scram 411. There’s two OBD ports (pictured - one red, one black) this adapter only connects to the black (Euro4 style I believe). (Red connector is Euro5/EuroV style). It will not connect and read any data if kill switch is on. 1. Connect adapter cable to black OBD 6pin connector. 2. Turn on ignition (turn the key to ‘On’) 3. Turn off kill switch (red switch on right-grip side) (turn on fuel pump // you’ll hear fuel pump turn on) 4. Your scanner should now be able to read/erase codes, data, etc. Hope this helps someone. I have a 2022 Royal Enfield 350 classic and the engine light came on for some reason. My speedometer was also acting up ( common issue as I understand it ). I cleaned the contacts, put some dialectic greese and that fixed the issue with the speedometer....for now anyway. I plugged this adapter into the bike...used my OBD2 scanner and within 30 seconds I had the code cleared ( overheated engine oil was what it showed ). This adapter works perfect. If you need one, buy it..no reason not to.

Paired this adapter with an ELM 327 Bluetooth dongle to scan, and view live data on my 2018 Royal Enfield Himalayan. It works good, and seems well made. As long as your DLC is compatible this should work well.

Works as described, used it to talk to my computer on my 2022 Royal Enfield 350cc Classic reborn as I had a code on my bike at 70 miles on it and I wasn't going to wait 4 weeks to get it into the dealership. Turned out to be a code for the Mass airflow sensor which apparently is a pretty common code for these bikes they just kick on and off on there own and it doesn't affect the bike at all simple code read and couple quick Google searches later next day I was back on the road with it. Connected perfectly with the obd connection on my Royal Enfield Hunter 350 and my bluetooth obd dongle providing pertinent info that was relayed to the app on my phone so that I did not have to remove my seat anytime I wanted to view diagnostics of the motorcycle.

Works with any odb scanner, read and cleared my code. Saved a ton of money not going to the dealer. Great!

I was not sure since it was not listed by the seller in the description, but it works on 2023 Royal Enfield Himalayan Scram 411 without problems. Also the OBD port on the bike shows only 5 pins active with one pin not assigned, that is not a problem as the adapter cable still fits perfectly. Using an inexpensive OBD2 reader Ancel AD410, I am able to diagnose and maintain my bike with this adapter cable without issues. Thank you AMHTDOL.
