Very straightforward. One downside is there are no actual buttons, it’s all touch screen so finding the volume buttons while driving can be a challenge. You can wire it to use your steering wheel buttons, unfortunately we don’t have them. Apple car play is cool, works with my iPhone 11. Looks just like the phone screen. Reads you your texts. Apple maps goes straight to the screen when plugged in. The installation is a little time consuming, but there are plenty YouTube videos on the installation process. Once it's, spend some time with it (obviously) There are a lot of features, especially if you are coming from stock radio or older headunit. You can calibrate each speaker level, bandpass slopes, etc. There is a lot. Apple Carplay is really nice too. All the things you need while on the road. The radio is a hair slower outside of Carplay, but nothing that really hinders its function. The backup camera function works well and as expected.
