I just had to fluff it up a bit and the memory foam pieces just puffed right up (nice firmness, no crazy firm, and no squishy nothing...just right)! Didn't have a smell, so I was able to use it right away. It's a good square size and the hole for the ear is a nice size as well (I'd say for a medium-smallish large ear at most).I bought this pillow since my ears are (annoyingly) too sensitive to sleep directly on them and I have started to have carpel tunnel issues, so it's become uncomfortable after a while sleeping on my side, with my hand going numb. This has helped tremendously and would recommend it. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Hole is too small *by D***N on Reviewed in the United States on 13 June 2023* This pillow is fairly firm, but I find it comfortable to sleep on since I do not require a very soft pillow. Using this pillow has helped to heal my CNH. My one issue is with the size of the hole in the middle. It is small enough that I must be careful to get my ear in the hole when I put my head on the pillow.
