S700D 3.1ch Soundbar w/Wireless Dolby Atmos Audio, Ultra Slim Design, Q-Symphony, SpaceFit Sound Pro, Adaptive Sound, Game Mode Pro, HW-S700D/ZA

I've been on the quest for a sound bar since I upgraded my TV last year. I wanted the Q-Symphony integration for my Samsung QN65 but didn't want, or need, a high-end unit. For my use, I didn't see the value of spending a lot of money on a sound bar and additional surround sound speakers. I'd read all the reviews and decided to give the S700D a try. Set up was a breeze. I switched of the power strip to my TV, plugged in the sub-woofer and sound bar, switched the power strip back on and everything connected seamlessly. The only setting under audio I had to change was to select "TV + Soundbar" to enable the Q-Symphony function. I noticed right away that the dialog from the unit was much clearer than the TV speakers alone had been prior to installing the sound bar. I was concerned that I didn't hear sound from the TV speakers while watching standard streaming content, news, etc. Apparently the Q-Symphony function only works while viewing streaming content with 5.1 audio, such as Netflix movies and shows. If you want to put the system through it's paces, I highly recommend watching "Damsel" and "Oblivion", both on Netflix. The sound was HUGE and the TV speakers became part of the 5.1 surround effect. With my premium subscription to MAX, I was able to watch content streaming in 4K with Dolby Atmos audio and was very impressed by surround effect produced by the S700D sound bar and TV speakers. Since I do not have rear speakers, I wouldn't say the sound is "immersive" but there is a substantial depth, clarity, separation, bass response and dynamic range in the audio making this system a great value and option for anyone wanting to improve their listening experience. Many streaming providers offer premium subscriptions that offer 4K UHD and Dolby Atmos such as Netflix and MAX. I added the sound bar to my Smart Things app which does make controlling features a little easier. I'm not sure why but the only sound modes available are "Game" and "Adaptive Sound". I'm using adaptive sound which monitors the audio in real time and adjust for optimum sound quality. I'm very happy with this purchase and would highly recommend it!

Very good product sounds great like a theater easy to install

We ordered this sound bar in November of 2024. Set it up and started using it for our TV sound. We are an older couple and live full time in an RV. We loved it until a week ago it started making a crinkling sound like it was blown or something . Again we are an older couple and use it without any reason to blow a speaker. After my husband looking at it he said the speaker seems blown . We are very disappointed because money is tight and now we don't have a sound bar for our movies .

Great sound and easy to connect

This a great match to The Frame TV's, primarily because the sound bar only sticks out 1.75 inches when wall mounted, so it's a nice match to the slim profile of the TV. I snowed one star because the mounting hardware is garbage. The wall anchors provided are terrible and the screws wouldn't thread through the tips, that caused them to fail and spin a bigger hole in the drywall. Take my advice and get some good mounting toggles at the hardware store BEFORE you mount this. Otherwise, it sounds great and I really like the look of it on the wall compared of my previous sound bar.

Great value for the cost and works well!

My god, I love this setup. It is much better than my last, though it costs like 5x the amount as well, lbvs. While a bit expensive, this thing is seeming to be worth the money. Granted, I do not have a ton of experience with slightly higher end soundbars, I have heard a few. This thing met my expectations with ease, exceeded them even. The sound of everything is just better. The sub is even pretty good and is decent at reproducing some pretty low freqs. It is not the "Strongest Thing Around" but it does pair well with the bar gives you enough to enjoy. The soundbar is amazingly slim, in fact the entire package takes up very little space and the bar is super light. I was actually kind of worried as I opened the box up because it was so light it kind of felt like the section with the soundbar in it was empty, lbvs. But that made no sense because you could tell for sure the sub was in the box... Anyway, lol. It uses ARC over HDMI to connect, which I was also worried until I remembered our living room TV as that tech, I don't think any of the others that are in good places to use this have the tech to hook it up, lol. Phew! Note: remember to remove you old soundbar from your google or firestick settings if you have problems getting volume to work, that is what my issue was getting started. But it took all of 3 mins to get this thing fully hooked up and testing. It has mounting holes in it, if you need. My old one did not, and I just had to make it work, lol. So, this one just screwed right into the place of the old one. Lovely. And it comes with a few options for mounting included already as well. I will stop here. This is one of those products I could actually ramble on about for some time. In conclusion, I love this thing and will totally consider getting another if we upgrade any of our other TV's. I don't know if there is better, but I do know everyone here is happy as ever about this new arrival, for sure!!! Recommended!!! I wonder can you hook up multiple Bluetooth Subs to this thing and how that would sound? I have an extra from and older system, lol.

Yes - it does come with a Sub woofer. since the soundbar doesn't have a display - it was very difficult to configure. Since there isn't a display, why have a remote? Once connected it does work, and, does integrate with my TV and Xfinity for Volume and Mute. I did install the APP for it, and it did help - but isn't great. All the youtube videos show a Display on the front of it - mine just has blinking lights. I am sending a message to Samsung to ask that they create and post a video of how to interact with it using the remote.

Me gusto, fácil de instalar y además como la pantalla que tengo es de la misma marca sin problema se programó. También se creó un control remoto en mi celular (de la misma marca). Y lo principal es una buena experiencia de sonido.

No enciende el subwoofer, el producto será devuelto
