This is a great product. Smells good but not overpowering. I can apply it throughout my hair to the ends and it does not make my hair feel crunchy or gummy. After blow drying my hair looks volumized, has texture, and still feels soft. Extra benefit that this mousse offers heat protection. This and ideal product for my thin hair, and it’s a more affordable option.

There are thousands of products out there that make the same claims, but this product really works. It's a bit pricey, but I think it's worth it. Hair is visibly thicker and fuller. There's no stickiness at all. I am older and I have plenty of hair, but at my age, hair is very fine. This product is the solution to that issue if it's important to you.

Best thickening mousse out there. Can't beat it--and I have tried dozens. Most do an okay job--others do nothing. This stuff actually does what it says. Worth every penny!! Be careful not to use too much! Blow drying can be a little difficult if you weight your hair down. A small amount will do the trick. Holds from one shampoo to the next and creates body like nothing else out there. Leaves hair shiny and soft, not dull like it's made of plastic. Simply the gold standard--or maybe platinum standard. Hence the name.

This is nice quality, but not really the volumizing thickening mousse that I was hoping for at its price point. I am giving it 4 stars because you receive a large bottle, and it has a nice scent, but as far as volumizing, not so much.

The best mousse for a great price! I don’t use anything else!!

I have very limp, fine hair, and this foam does give good body. My only problem with it is, if you use too much, it stiffens the hair so much you wind up breaking the hairs as you try to brush it so be careful - you don't need as much as you do with other products. It works, but as with all foams, it does dull the hair a bit so I combine it with another product to get my hair to really shine. I use their extra volume shampoo also, and both have a nice oder which is freash, but not overpowering.

I really love this product as far a volume and that it is lightweight on my short straight color treated hair! The only reason why I have had to give it three stars is the fact it has dried out my hair. It has dried it out so that I have to change my shampoo and conditioner, my hairstylist has had to treat my hair for the dryness, and I have added a leave in product to try to combat the dryness. Even with all the changes this product still dries out my hair. It is frustrating because it actually gives my hair the volume I need for a bob but I cannot keep damaging my hair. I’m going to try to find something that will give me the volume of this product without the damaging results. I wish it could be reformulated. The Kenra 12 Mousse is runny. I took to my hairstylist and she had to really shake it hard to produce a head of foam from it. Plus when I use it I do not get the same results from it as I do with the Platinum Thickening Mousse. Wish me luck to find something that works as far as volume but without the drying effects.
