The book has a few very beautiful, more complicated recipes for experienced bakers, but is also full of very fun, easy, delicious classic desserts for someone just beginning. It also has an entire section in the beginning of the book dedicated to equipment and education that is actually helpful. The recipes are great, I love the way they are separated out. The photography is stunning throughout. There is a section dedicated to very impressive looking desserts that I know I will be dipping into for dinner parties and family gatherings. I love that in the back of the book is a great selection of 1-2 serving desserts—yes yes yes. More of this! I’m so happy to be able to support Sarah as an author. As a lifetime baker I have enjoyed her videos and blog so much. She brings such a fun, lovely disposition to baking that makes her content accessible for anyone who wants to make something sweet. I bought one for myself and will be buying others for family members. Great book. Review: BEST (10000/10) DESSERT COOKBOOK!!! - First of all, if you’ve ever seen Sarah’s IG/YouTube/TikTok, you’ll know she is human sunshine - so funny, witty, & cute! Which is why I originally started following Broma. It was just entertaining to watch her bake because you can see her love for baking shine through. However, her cookbook is SOMETHING ELSE! Her personality & humor shines through the writing, each recipe is a masterpiece, and it is the easiest bake book to follow along. I don’t consider myself a great baker but she gives tips for each recipe & at the beginning of the book and I feel like a seasoned baker just 3 recipes in! I own about 5-6 dessert cookbooks but I have never had the amount of success following along as I have with this one! If you buy this, you absolutely will not regret it! Love you, Sarah!!

Purchased this as a Christmas present and it has amazing recipes. Everything in here is definitely so delicious. Really good for personal gift or gift to a friend.

Beautiful aesthetic, yummy recipes
I could not wait to get this and it did not disappoint. I discovered her cookie recipe on line and can say with confidence. It is the best recipe out there because of this I couldn’t wait to get her book to have access to a plethora of yummy treats. I would recommend this to anyone who has a sweet tooth.

I bought this book on cyber Monday. I got it for a really good price and I’m so happy I chose it. I seriously want to try every recipe in this book. They all look delicious. Lots of beautiful images and clear easy to follow recipes.

The perfect gift!
The recipes seem easy to follow and the book is organized VERY well! It even offers information on baking measurement conversions, essential tools, and must have ingredients for the shelf and fridge. Pictures attached: table of contents, essential baker tools, stand mixer etiquette, and measurement conversions. Lastly, I love how the chapter “Dessert for One” includes QR codes at the bottom (of each page) for the FULL size recipe. Such a great addition.

Almost perfect
Long time baker here. I loved the recipes in this book. Have made so many of them. Great photos and instructions are big enough to see easily while glancing back and forth during making. My only wishes are that the author would add weights so that the recipes will be more reproducible to everyone. I don’t mean convert the current amounts to weights, I mean practice with weights and have testers use weights. I converted to weights and on some recipes I could tell the batter was too thick or too thin and I’m experienced enough to fix this, but many new bakers are not. With flour the weight per cup depends on which conversion chart you use. I am a huge KAF fan so I use their conversion but other companies convert it differently. Exactly weights during the creation and tester phase would ensure a better result for customers. Also, some of the scoop sizes didn’t exactly match up to the amount of cookies in a recipe and size of cookie. That matters of trying to get the same consistency using the oven times listed. Lastly, I think changing to weights would also fix my last complaint, oven times. I’m not far above sea level and I have a separate oven thermometer to keep check on exact temperatures, yet my chocolate banana bread took over 60 min to bake without the center being raw. I actually used the cup measurements for the amount of crushed banana instead of ‘about x-many’ to be more accurate, and still the oven time was way off. In conclusion, I loved the bakery style and ooy-gooey baked goods in the book, but I can usually fix things when they go wrong and know why they went wrong. My daughter on the other hand is not as knowledgeable and when I gave her the book I had to add notes for her on so many recipes and when she made some I hadn’t made and they didn’t come out she thinks she just can’t bake when in truth the recipe might just need to be more accurate. Hope to see more from this author in the future.

Ein sehr sehr gutes Backbuch. Es beinhaltet viele verschiedene Kuchenrezepte, die bisher auch sehr gut bei der Familie angekommen sind. Große Empfehlung, wenn man mal was anderes ausprobieren möchte. Ein weiterer Pluspunkt dafür, dass es eine "Umrechnungstabelle" gibt (Cups = Gramm). Somit ist es auch für Leute einfacher, die keine Cups zuhause haben

Have been following this author on Insta for ages and love her recipes. This book is a great representation of some of her best, LOVE the single serve section, so good when you just want a little treat and don't want to make a whole batch of something. Highly Recommend. Lovely picture and a very handy conversion page.
