This is probably one of the best whole bean coffees we’ve had—and we’ve had some of the expensive fancy ones. What impresses me is how thick and creamy the crema is and it’s not even an advertised feature. The picture I’ve shown isn’t even the espresso setting. It’s just the regular coffee setting and it gives piles of crema!

Simpler flavor profile, but has nice mouth feel and tastes fresh. Works well in drip brew and leaves a burnt, roasty aftertaste that is signature of a dark roast. Not too aromatic or deep in flavor, but has a solid, basic dark roast flavor with no odd taste throughout.

Hills Bros. Dark Satin whole bean is a Superb cup of coffee. Very flavorful when drinking it black. Good Value, and would never have found it without Amazon. I heartily recommend!

I was looking for a good whole bean dark roast coffee, and this is it. As soon as I opened the bag, I noticed a very pleasant odor. The beans are all consistent in color. The taste is exceptional for a dark roast. I will be purchasing again.

This is a good coffee with good taste. However. Does not have the strong pop of some other dark roasts. Initial strong taste but fades too quickly. Tried it due to the lower price but won't get it again.
