Can you use these pads with a brush for Zentangles? I'm thinking to the Niji water brush.

If pad is swiped on a laminated sheet or the Tim Holtz sheet, you can use with a water brush.

I cannot seem to blend. does the paper matter? i am using neenah classic crest.
