Versatile ingredient for so many things when you need a little (or a lot) of onions
Really handy store cupboard ingredient. Perfect for homemade sage and onion stuffing or for boiled onions to go with beef burgers for that authentic Christmas market taste. Perfect to add to stewes casseroles etc can’t make a cheese and onion butty with them but they’re great for adding to pretty much anything. Try making bread in your bread maker and you have delicious onion bread/bagels /sourdough. A very versatile ingredient that you can do LOTS with

These chopped onions are incredibly useful if, like me, you are disabled or low on energy. They get softer after soaking or cooking but still have a little bite to them which is nice, and they impart a good onion taste to whatever you use them in without being overpowering. They might seem expensive at first but you'll get so many uses out of them they're great value for money. I use these all the time and still have maybe 1/6 left after a few months.

A good all-rounder for the spice cupboard, these chopped onions are great for just about any savoury dish. Kirkland have a great standard of quality and I love that I was able to buy this product in bulk packaging online rather than having to brave a trip to Costco.

Handy
Very handy for making salmon rissoles. Much easier than using fresh onions.

Put them in a bowl of water
Slightly expensive but very easy to add to some dishes and saves chopping up onions. Very tasty on hot dogs or burgers, just put a handful in a bowl of water and leave for 10 minutes and they expand in size and soak up the water, partially dry them on a paper towel and eat :)

Fantastic onion mix when reconstituted
These onions reconstitute to make a nice mix for frying curries. Use oil and spices for a curry in a hurry without making a base gravy. They blend up beautifully with a rich flavour.
