Not peppermint
I thought it would be peppermint..it is not. Bottle cap leaked in package.. Down the drain it went.

Musty tart after taste
It's sudzy. It's got the weirdest after smell that's musky. This is not flower water. It's a chemical with water.

Great for Cooking!
I recently tried Kashan Rosewater and it has quickly become a staple in my kitchen! The fragrance is absolutely divine—rich, floral, and authentic, which adds a beautiful, natural rose essence to any dish. I’ve used it in a variety of recipes, It imparts a subtle yet fragrant flavor that enhances the overall taste without being overpowering. The quality of this rosewater is exceptional. It’s pure, refreshing, and not overly sweet, which I love. I also appreciate how versatile it is, whether I’m using it in cooking, baking, or even as a natural addition to beverages. It’s clear that this is a high-quality product, and it’s become an essential ingredient in my culinary experiments.

Natural mint flavor but just okay as a useful product
This is a 240 ml glass bottle with a twist-off cap of mint water from Kashan. It arrived in perfectly factory sealed condition. Opening the bottle, you can smell the crisp aroma of mint. Tasting it on its own it does have a big menthol-y mint flavor. I decided to see if this mint water plus a bit of sugar could replace the mint simple syrup in a mint julep, because mint simple syrup doesn't store well. I added a good splash of this to bourbon, sugar, and ice, and could not taste much mint flavor like I would if I had used a similar amount of mint simple syrup. I continued adding more and even at almost 1/4 of the bottle it just couldn't do what mint simple syrup would do. So this mint water definitely does not stand up to bourbon. It is a somewhat acceptable product to add a bit of mint flavor to tea, coffee, sparkling water, and might even work for a mojito, but at $11.95 for what is essentially a cup of water, I feel like the value is not there.

Great!
Incredibly floral, great tasting. Did not have any leakage, and only needs a little bit to go a long way.

Good water, maybe defective bottle
I mention this in case it was more than a fluke thing - my bottle had busted threads that stabbed through the aluminum cap and cut me when I tried to open the bottle. I’m sure it was just incidental travel damage, but I’ve never seen anything like this so I was surprised. The inside of the lid and the edge of the threads are covered in glass so I watched very closely to make sure none ended up in the bottle. The rose water itself is good. Good flavor and scent. I added it to bubbly water to perk it up a little, and I also have plans to add it to some butter cookies. It isn’t every day I see rose water for culinary purposes come in this big of a bottle - I can’t imagine I’ll need more any time soon.
