Highly reliable system. L
Tymate RV tire pressure monitoring system is a "must-have" for any RV owner. The system is highly reliable. The performance is impeccable. Great value for the money. The tire pressure alert is “piercingly” audible. Rightfully so. The unit is extremely easy to use. Setup / connectivity is as simple as screwing on a tire cap.

Nice to have
A must have if you’re towing a camper or a trailer, it’s a great peace of mind knowing what you’re tire pressure is, I’ve had this for almost a year now and no issues, what don’t like is how it changes screens to the other tire pressures, I have another one on my spare tire and it’s constantly changing screens showing the spare tire pressure, you should just be able to press a button to show that pressure. The transponder helps out a lot as well!

Easy setup, cost effective, dollar value.
The best TPMS I have installed, simple Installation, worked perfect-especially connection distance-did not need the repeater-installed on my tow car/42 ft motorhome. The monitor is small but very legible, neat sitting on my instrument panel.

Works great.
Amazing product I didn't think I would need but I did. The same trip I installed them for it caught a faulty valve stem and allowed me to get to a tire store before ruining the tire. So glad I bought this TPMS.

Screen is Way too Dim
There’s a lot to like here. The sensors are accurate Installation is easy The audible alarm is loud enough to hear outside the RV. It’s really sad the screen isn’t brighter. Way too dim. If this had a brighter screen an easy five stars

I'm concerned
I like the idea of a tire pressure monitor on my RV. The ability to have a constant indication of the state of the pressure on all 6 tires simultaneously is very desirable. What I'm concerned about is dependability and accuracy. Edited 3/20/25: After using this on several trips across the US I drawn some conclusions. 1) The screen is so small as to be useless, especially when the bright sun is coming in the giant windshield of my Class A. 2) I can't figure out which wheel is being measured on the screen. The vehicle icon makes no sense referencing sensor position. 3) The instructions aren't very helpful explaining how to change settings. The system has been dependable, no problems with the sensors or the receiver, beyond my comments above If I were buying a TPMS, I'd find the one with the biggest screen, black print on a white background. I will determine accuracy across time. Dependability is easier to determine, do they work? I put mine on a few days ago. The RV is parked in my driveway, not moving, while I prep it for my next trip. So far the right inner dual list all it's air. That appeared to have something to do with the valve stem extensions I had been using (which didn't leak). This morning I discovered the low pressure alarm sounding (nice and loud which is a good thing), this time for the left inner dual which also had an extension. This afternoon I'll pull off the extension and reinstall the sensor and see what happens. Are the sensors dependable? Well . . . I'm concerned.

Tymate Saved Our lives
This Tymate saved our family's lives. Our brakes were rubbing on our travel trailer and overheated and destroyed our bearings causing excessive heat. Our Tymate immediately started sounding alarms giving me time to pull off the road saving our single axle camper and our lives. Yes, the display is hard to read in the sunlight but you don't need to be looking at it while driving and if you get your tire pressure set before you travel the Tymate will let you know if you have a adnormal pressure or heat deviation. Have steel valve stems, good quality tires, and a good TPMS will help you have a better chance of a successful camping trip .
