I thought this one had the ability to give out cool air not just circulate air around one. Warm air blows warm air. This device needs to have a cooling element in its system. If it had both warm and cool air option it could be used year round and not be for part of the year. Bottom line for the summer for which it was intended....a cooling element please!

My hair has always been about shoulder length, so when there is the slightest bit of heat in the air, my neck can get very warm. It’s unnerving how a hot neck can affect whatever I’m doing at the time, whether it’s reading or macramé or cooking. The first thing I noticed about this portable neck fan is how comfortably and almost unnoticeable it rests on my neck, ergonomically speaking. Taking it out of the package, it had some charge to it, so I tested it out. Boy, is it nice, covering an area of almost 360 degrees with a nice light breeze. Pressing the button on the side will bring it up two more speeds, but I’ll typically wait to do that for an actual hot day. It even has a function where you can press the power button and hold it for 3 seconds, and it gives you a little colorful light show around your neck, automatically changing to 64 different colors. It uses a USB-C charging cord, which comes with it. A little light next to the charging port is green while you are charging it, which I’m doing right now. The instructions say that the light will turn to blue when it is fully charged. It also tells how long you can expect it to run before the charge is gone. That’s a nice thing to know if, say, I’m going to my grandson’s soccer game this summer and am unable to charge the fan while there. When the charge is gone, the light will turn red. Also, if it won’t go to the high speed or turn on at all, it needs to be charged. But it actually gives an adequate number of working hours, and that’s good. I am looking forward to using this portable neck fan a lot this summer. Not only will it conveniently keep me cool—and go wherever I go—but it will most likely keep the flies and gnats away from my face. That in itself is a good reason for me to have this fan! I highly recommend it!
