I am a post menopausal woman and have been using Kirkland minoxidil 5% for probably a half dozen years. It works for me as well as the name brand and is very economical. I use the 5% once a day and since I am not hormonal I am not concerned about the strength. Also I am not concerned about erectile dysfunction. I purchase from Amazon.com

Does work, but don't use other than on head
I mis-used the product, applying it to my legs for a month... did work and caused more hairs to appear... However, the warning is correct, don't do this, causes erectile dysfunction. As a vaso-dilator (it is not a hormone) it prevents the little valves from closing, so you can't get an erection.... Took 3 weeks to get it out of my system.
