I bought this for use in my shop as during the Uk summer it can get brutally hot in our store as we cannot open the front door. I open up the air conditioner when it arrived to check it would be fit for purpose at my store and oh my god. What a quality of life change it is. it can get a little loud when running but it instantly gets the downstairs of my house cold. I'm going to have to buy another for my shop as i dont think i could live at home without this! It also has a dehumidifier mode which makes drying clothes when it is raining a breeze i simply hook up the drain hose to a bucket and let it run. it can dry around 3 loads of washing in about 2 hours which is nuts! way faster than drying outside in the british summer. Love it and would recomend to anyone looking to cool their rooms during summer.

I bought this in June ready to use on a very hot day like today (12 Aug 2024). It is the first use today and setting it up was incredibly difficult. The instructions are poor so I have not been able to use the window fixture because it doesn't explain how to secure it once you have extended it and attaching the ends of the pipe was very very hard work and essentially took brute force. It is now on and having very little effect on the temperature of my room despite an incredible amount of noise. As I bought this a couple of months ago and have only just had the chance to try it out, I don't think I am able to return it although I will look into that as I would like to as it's clearly a waste of money!

Working well so far, easy to setup and use. It's blowing cold air just using the main pipe out of the window. Only downsides are it's quite noisy, but for this cost you can't expect it to be whisper quiet

Our old dehumidifier finally gave up the ghost, and we use one all the time to dry washing in the conservatory to prevent water dripping off the roof and causing black mould on the sealant. When looking at replacement cost of dehumidifiers alone they were approaching nearly £200 and I noticed that I could spend modestly more money to also get the bonus functionality of a full air-conditioning unit for in the summer months when the conservatory tends to be too hot to be able to use, when temperatures often exceeded over 40°. I’ll point out that this unit is much heavier than a standalone dehumidifier, so be aware if you move a dehumidifier around your house then this may not be suitable for you. Our dehumidifier stays in a static position in our conservatory so leaving this one in position is not a problem for us. At the moment my plan is initially to vent this out of the the window and the flexi pipe and the window fixing kit are all supplied which was one of decisions points to buy this model. You can easily spend about £50 on these accessories so keeps the cost down. Depending on the results I may consider drilling a permanent vent using a diamond core 5” hole into the lower brickwork of the conservatory, but want to hold off doing this until I’m convinced the unit will adequately reduce the temperature in the conservatory during the hot spells. It’s doing a good job as a dehumidifier and when I’ve tested out the aircon the unit blows super chilly air so all looking promising. Noise levels are on par with our outgoing model. I couldn’t be happier.

What a great investment buying this air conditioning unit. So much better than a fan spinning around pushing hot air around the lounge. Good - Smaller than what I thought it will be (very compact unit - including when boxed on delivery) - Quite sound unit compared to some units I have seen. - light weight. Easy to carry upstairs from lounge to bedroom - Setup - Click on the remote control or unit to turn on or change temp control. Easy to control it. - Has a child lock and sleep function on it. (Not used it yet) Bad - Did not include two batteries for the remote control - Waited too long to buy one. So happy I brought it now. FYI - Need to leave it to stand for 6 hours before turning on due to the built in. Compressor.

Not sure if i was just unlucky but did everything instructions said but unit sounded awful unless held at an angle so returning, but this unit was cheap so maybe build quality not great. bought a different make unit and no problems so not sure, Came well packaged and if your in u.k the extraction is not for our window shape which it does say and no batteries for remote.

Overall it works good and as advertised. I had to buy the additional window kit for my type of windows. I hate the touch panel. Its flat on the top and anyone, or cat can change the settings. The child lock is easily disabled. I hate the drain being on the very bottom, they suggest a pan or something, but I instead need to move it to the bathroom and lift it to drain into the tub. This is not ideal.

This works great and cools the room really fast to a great temp. It is however very noisy so i returned it. I wanted it for my bedroom and because of the room layout it needed to be right next to my bed. It was just too noisy to sleep so sadly i returned it. It was easy to assemble the window vent and very portable with the wheels. Price was great too.
