The company says they’re clinically shown to absorb within about 23–30 minutes after swallowing. Plus, less than one calorie per 5-gram serving if you’re concerned anbout calorie impact. A typical 5 tablet serving is equal to 30g of whey protein but with minimal calorie impact. PROS: tablets are definitely clean, vegan, and contain zero sugar or fillers. MINOR CONS: they are a bit large to swallow and slightly chalky when you put them in your hand. And the price is on the higher side. I bought these based on a recommendation from a trusted family member. I am a 41 year old woman- and had been struggling with thyroid (Hashimotos) and hormonal weight gain. I remembered that I had bought these and started taking them. I started slow with 2 pills, and am working my way up to 5 - just to be sure I have no GI upset. In a little over a week I dropped 5 pounds and didn't change anything else. I am impressed and would recommend if you have been struggling to lose weight because your thyroid is plotting against you like mine is.

The nucleic acid additions are an interesting touch, though evidence for oral nucleotides boosting muscle synthesis in healthy adults is limited. My main issue is with the equivalence claims. The label says 5g equals 29g of whey, implying whey is only ~17% utilized. Established protein quality research (Net Protein Utilization, Biological Value) puts whey at 90-95% — one of the highest of any protein source. The company appears to be using a non-standard definition of “utilization” to make the math work. Even if absorption were perfect, 5 grams is still just 5 grams of building material. Efficiency and equivalence aren’t the same thing. Also, it’s a proprietary blend, so you can’t verify how much of each amino acid you’re actually getting. Tryptophan and histidine are listed near the bottom, suggesting minimal amounts. It’s a decent EAA supplement if you need something low-calorie and fast-absorbing.
