Banyan is the best...the only thing that concerns me is how long Amazon keeps the product in the warehouse.

I use this mostly at night; feels light on skin, not oily at all and I love the gentle fragrance. Better than most high priced oils I have tried.

This wonderful face oil absorbs quickly leaving the face feeling smooth and soft. It smells wonderful, also. I highly recommend it.

I'm 75 and this product really keeps my skin looking moist without dry areas.

I received a boxed 0.5 fluid ounce dropper dispenser brown glass bottle of BANYAN BOTANICALS Face oil. The box label provides product information, directions, ingredient list, origin and company details. Banyan Botanical is based in New Mexico. The bottle was plastic wrapped/sealed at neck for consumer protection. Box base provided lot number, but no manufacture or expiration date. This facial oil includes a combination of eleven different oils, plus Vitamin E and Safron flower extract. The product does have a subtle scent, which is described on the Amazon product page as rose, frankincense and helichrysum. Personally, I found the aroma to be pleasant and not overwhelming. Instructions state to apply 2-4 drops morning and night to damp skin. I regularly use facial oils and generally speaking find them a positive addition to my skincare routine. I particularly like this Banyan Botanical facial oil. I appreciate that the formula includes is 97% of certified organic ingredients and I enjoy the subtle scent. I also like that the formula includes a variety of botanical oils, eliminating the need for multiple products. For me oils absorb into my dry skin quite quickly, however I have found that applying a gel type serum or moisturizer following oil application, seems to speed absorption and leaves a nice canvas for sun screens, foundation, powder, etc.

NY SKIN: In my 40s, combination skin in warmer months, more dry in winter. Testing and reviewing this in July. PRODUCT: The oil came in a box with all the information needed, full list of ingredients and how to use it. It says ayurvedic and the address is the company in Albuquerque, NM. Doesn't say where it's made, just the American address. The box wasn't sealed, but the bottle had a plastic wrapping on its neck. Unfortunately, there's no expiration or manufacturing date on the box or on the bottle. I even tried to use a flashlight to see if maybe the dark glass doesn't show it properly. That's a slight negative in my eyes. The oil itself is very rich, has a deep yellow color, and is not the most lightweight that I've tried. I tried it in July with my combination skin, and it took a super long time to somewhat absorb and I still had a layer of oil sitting on my face a couple of hours later. I'm sure it'll be ideal for winter, or for someone with very dry skin who needs extra moisture. I don't think I'll be able to use it in the morning in summer cause nothing will layer on top of that perfectly, maybe not even my sunscreen. Other than that, it'll be a nice final layer to seal in all the moisture that you've applied before. Oils in general should be applied last, after all the serums and moisturizers. Slight word of warning to anyone sensitive to smells in their skincare. Even though this doesn't have any artificial fragrance added, but a mixture of different oils does give it this typical Indian smell that does not linger super long, and once the oil sits on your skin for a while, you don't smell it at all. But just in case you want something completely unscented, This might not be the product for you. All in all, I'm very satisfied with the oil, and will keep it for colder months when my skin will get slightly drier. It's a bit much for me in the summer for my combination skin, but I'm looking forward to using it later in the year.
